This beautiful venue is located just 2 miles off I-90, but feels a world away from everything. The 48 acres of private property is full of majestic 100 year old oak trees and a 1/2 acre pond. Take a stroll across the bridge over a hidden creek to an island, or along the 2 miles of manicured trails through the woods. The little yellow barn is a beautiful, rustic treasure that can host your reception. Located on the property is an amazing house that has a bridal suite for getting ready. This 3 bedroom, 3 bath accommodations sleeps 10 and is perfect for the bride and her bridesmaids to stay overnight before the wedding and get ready the day of. The spacious decks overlook the pond and the venue in a luxurious and relaxing environment. Our venue limits the amount of weddings we do in a weekend to make sure that you have a unique and special experience. The August Hill Winery Tasting Room is the perfect place to host your next event. Our staff can help you plan the perfect party, complete with our handcrafted wines, beautiful surroundings, gourmet treats, catered food and more. Three areas of our Tasting Room are available after business hours to host your private party. Guests can mix and mingle in the Tasting Bar, be seated comfortably in the elegant Lounge (open to guests 21 and over), or enjoy the sunshine (or be sheltered from the elements) on our three-season Patio. Our patio is also available for private events during business hours. We can happily accommodate your small party (10-20 people) during business hours on our three-season Patio or in our beautifully contemporary Lounge.

The former home of cook-your-own-steaks, Old Oaks Steak House, south of Milan, has been transformed into Old Oaks Winery. The rear of the property contains several acres of now-mature vineyards, which are producing the grapes for Old Oaks wine. Our vision has always been to bring a Napa feel back to the Midwest. Old Oaks Winery has a tasting room and event space for more than 200.

Pointe D’Vine Vineyard and Venue offers an exclusive outdoor setting for an unforgettable wedding or special event. It’s a beautifully rustic property and home of Rita and Gary Speckhart. Nestled on 35 acres, Pointe D’Vine is centrally situated in the tri-state area, close to the Mississippi River and only fifteen minutes away from local hotels, travel 12 miles to downtown Quincy, Illinois and about 7 miles away from Hannibal, Missouri.

The Buchanan House Mansion built in 1883 is now placed on the rolling his of the Buchanan House Winery and Vineyard. In 2009, the mansion was scheduled to be demolished. The Weaver Family of Tipton, sad to see it go, purchased the mansion and later moved it 7 miles to its new location. Now the mansion is the perfect place to host a small event for up to 40 guests. The 19-acre vineyard and garden make a beautiful place to host an outdoor ceremony and reception. All of our wine is made in the basement of the mansion and tasting room. Host an event at Buchanan House and have the choice of 30+ red, white, bubbly, sparkling, and port-style wines.

The beautiful countryside, the 86 acre property has about 15 acres of grapes and many outdoor deck areas and paths to take a stroll and get away from the hustle and bustle of today’s hectic world.
