“My husband and I got married at the CKE this October 2024. There aren’t enough words to express our gratitude to their entire team for all of their hard work to make our visions and dreams come to life. Each and every staff member was kind, and helpful. If you had a question you’d get a response promptly and always with a “let’s see what we can do attitude”. Katherine (the owner) made you feel a part of the CKE family and always was looking to make the planning process seamless and easy for us and our family. The CKE floral and design team made our big ideas all come to life- we had a visions of big branching centerpieces with florals tucked in, that Jess and her team absolutely delivered on. On top of that, we asked for an installation over our sweetheart table. Jess and her team have many suggestions and shared they visited Home Depot at least 3 times to see how it would hang, and the final installation beyond exceeded our expectations. The talent and grace their team exudes is what ever bride and groom look for in a team. The planning process was also so seamless due to their amazing coordinator team. We worked with Katrina, the kindest, most professional coordinator we have ever met. Katrina was available at every step of the planning process, providing thoughtful recommendations due to her very obvious experience. Katrina also was there for our wedding day of helping to manage the schedule, set up, constantly checking in, and making sure it all went according to plan (which it did). In addition during the reception Katrina was checking with us throughout the night to see if we wanted to pivot anything or if we needed anything. We are extremely grateful for her support! In addition, Kyle was our maitre d’ for the evening and he did an absolutely wonderful job. He made sure to check in with my husband and I as well as our immediate family members. He was so kind and professional! Lastly but very importantly- the food and drinks! Most of all of our guests shared that this was the best wedding food they have ever had. It is no small feat cooking for large groups and every aspect of the food from the cocktail hour to the dinner course was absolutely fantastic. These are a few quotes from guests: - “The food was gourmet.” - “This is the real deal.” - “The sushi… Oh, the sushi! So fresh!” In addition, the bartenders crushed it! Everyone was impressed by the quality of the drinks and we never had a line at the bar- they were fast and catered to our guests. I would highly recommend the CKE to future couples getting married. The aspect of the family business really shows and ensures you have a tailored experience for your wedding. The entire staff is kind and down to earth- always willing to help. We wish them nothing but the best for their future wedding seasons!”

“The Whistling Swan Inn was the perfect place for our family at our son's wedding. We had booked the entire inn for 3 nights. Rooms and suites were large and beautifully decorated. From the moment we reached out to them, the owners were incredibly communicative, accommodating, and pleasant to work with. Each of the guest rooms was climate-controlled with private en-suite bathrooms, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The beautiful environment throughout the entire inn, combined with the excellent breakfast and plentiful beverages and pastries available all day, made our wedding weekend truly special. The owner and staff were accommodating and immediately responsive to all requests. We are so grateful to the Whistling Swan Inn for contributing to the magic of our family's special weekend celebrations. “Camp Sacajawea was the best decision we made while wedding planning! We knew we didn’t want a standard ball room wedding but never could have imagined a venue as cool as Camp Sacajawea. The day we saw it we knew it was for us. The staff was super kind and helpful! The ambiance is eclectic and lends its self to so many possibilities, they even have a bunch of decor other couples have donate following their events to pay it forward to the next couple! You can use any vendors you want to make your event exactly as you wish! They even offer lawn games and, archery / axe throwing for events. We also came from out of state and they were super flexible/ supportive to make sure we were comfortable. Don’t hesitate if you’re interested, worth every penny! All our guests are raving about how much fun they had !”

“The North Shore House holds a special place in our hearts- they helped make our wedding day the literal BEST DAY EVER. From start to finish, we couldn't have been happier! Emma and the rest of the staff were timely with communication, SUPER organized, helpful with details, and so attentive. Emma was truly a rockstar point person- we can't rave about her enough! The space speaks for itself: the outdoor space perfectly amplifies the natural beauty of the lake, and the indoor space is cozy, warm, and inviting- a perfect place to dance the night away! The food was amazing (must get the pistachio crusted lamb chops), and the wait staff was the most helpful. We have been to the restaurant several times before, so knew the food was delicious, but our guests couldn't stop mentioning how tasty everything was! Some bullet points of things we LOVED: -the hotel rooms are cozy, individual, and inviting, with space for all the hotel guests to chill and hang out -North Shore picked us up from my parent's lake house on the other side of the lake in their 2 pontoon boats, and we had a blast riding to the ceremony -everything was meticulously set up, from the beautiful white chairs to the signs we had made -Can't stress how beautiful the outdoor ceremony was -My husband and I scheduled 5 minutes alone together in the bocce ball quart after the ceremony during cocktail hour, and the staff had pre set a plate of hors d'ouvres and 2 cocktails there for us so we didn't miss any of the food -One of the waitresses told my husband and I at the start of the night that she was going to make sure we ate enough and drank enough water throughout the night- she was so sweet, and several times made sure we had cocktails and champagne. -The dance floor was big enough for all of our friends and family to dance- we were on the floor the entire night! - We used all of the North Shore House's preferred vendors (Platinum Band, Karen's Kreations, Orchard Street photography, Stocker Bus) and couldn't have been happier with their suggestions -We did an after party in the back bar- super fun! If you want a beautiful venue with picture perfect outdoor space, cozy indoor space, delicious food, super helpful personnel, and overall GREAT vibes, book North Shore House!”
