Florencia Saav Photography

Hoboken, NJ
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,880
  • Serves Queens, NY

Hello! I'm Florencia, a wedding photographer based in NY/NJ and I'm looking forward to meeting you! I'm fluent in English and Spanish and I found myself working with multicultural couples a lot. That's one of the many amazing parts of my work. I've been capturing love stories for more than seven years and I LOVE to do this for a living.

Awarded Best of Zola
I could write forever and a day about Florencia. Myself and my husband eloped to New York just the two of us. I found Florencia from Instagram and immediately fell in-love with her work however when I met her .. I loved her even more. As we aren’t from New York it was a lot of video chats to begin with, Florencia was always at the end of the phone when I had any worries, questions or wanting to change my mind … sorry Flo! Haha Flo is friendly, honest, calm and fun - everything you need on your wedding day! Right away we said how nervous we were about the ‘posey’ pics- especially my husband. Florencia put us at ease from the first photo till the last, making sure we knew how to stand, pose and also ensuring we had fun along the way. It never felt like we were posing for a camera at all but just chatting with each other and having fun! The photos are breathtaking and we will forever treasure the memories we made. Florencia captured everything we asked for down to location, poses, and also listened to what we didn’t want which to us was very important. There was only me and my husband on our wedding day so to have Flo by our side was amazing. We began to talk about everything from home life to work & before the end of the day she felt like a huge part of our wedding day. I 100% recommend Florencia to anyone wanting a photographer. Her attitude towards her work and her personality alone is a reason to book her … then you get the added bonus of the amazing photos to keep afterwards. From the bottom of my heart - thank you Flo. You are truly an amazing person.

Tati And Roman

New York, NY

  • Serves Queens, NY

We are a married couple of photographers. Within years of career, we discovered what’s really matters - we want to make people happy. Weddings have it all: new interesting people, touching stories, warm family relationships, tears. A lot of tears! Oh, don’t forget dances and sparklers! So, it’s fun! 🙂 Also, we love weddings because it’s the most challenging kind of photography in the field, it combines all the genres. It make you think, move and react quickly in constantly changing surrounding. We have no room for mistakes. So It’s never boring! 🙂

Awarded Best of Zola
Planning a wedding is stressful and feels like trying to juggle a thousand different things. Hiring Tati and Roman meant we knew we didn’t have to worry about one of the biggest aspects of our wedding day. From the beginning their communication and professionalism set the standard. The pre wedding planning they do made it so easy day of. The day of our wedding it rained all day they already had back up locations for the weather. They arrived on time and were so friendly and calming throughout the day. They made sure we got all the pictures we wanted done. When we got the photos back we were blown away by how amazing they all came out. We have been getting non stop compliments from friends and family about them! Tati and Roman need to be on the top of your list if you’re getting married in NYC

Marilyn Lamanna Photography

5.0

Astoria, NY
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,000

Hey there!! My name is Marilyn and I'm so glad you're here ♡ I am a couples + wedding photographer based in New York City, and happy to travel to wherever your day is at! I've had pink hair for the last 6 years so at this point it has become a personality trait and I'm 100% okay with it. I love the outdoors, pat every dog I can, and thrive on ben and jerry's. My ideal place to be would likely be frolicking in wildflowers in a dress that's way too long, but the longer the better. The patio of my NYC apartment with a good book is a close second favorite though, for sure.

Awarded Best of Zola
In what is typically a sea of puppy videos and Office memes, my IG algorithm somehow led me to Marilyn’s work, and I couldn’t be happier! This past year I had the pleasure of working with Marilyn for my city hall elopement wedding “house party” and my spouse and I are beyond thrilled with the stunning photos we received. In addition to photography, Marilyn also lent her talents to capturing a short-form video of our wedding festivities and weaving all the best bits of our celebration together like a home movie. As someone who doesn’t feel the most comfortable posing for photos and can be a bit stiff (think, scarecrow-come-to-life), one of the things that stood out the most was Marilyn's ability to make everyone feel at ease in front of the camera. The posed shots are natural and effortless, and the candid snaps are pure and authentic. Marilyn has an incredible talent for capturing not just moments but emotions. It’s true what they say – it all goes by SO quickly, but each photo tells a story, and looking through our wedding album feels like slowing down time and reliving the magic all over again. Thank you, Marilyn, for your thoughtfulness, creative eye, and positive energy! Your dedication to your craft and genuine passion for capturing love stories made these big moments even more special.

Thalia is a NYC & destination wedding photographer based in Queens, NY. Being the lead photographer and owner of her business, she has 10 years of experience capturing engaged couples. A New York native, she grew up on Long Island for many years where she received her BFA in Visual Arts from SUNY Old Westbury and now - if she's not traveling - you can find her enjoying a new coffee shop or re-watching The Office!

Awarded Best of Zola
Finding the person you feel comfortable with around you and your closest loved ones on a momentous day is a huge decision. Thalia is the person you want to capture your day. Thalia guided me, my bridesmaids and my family from the moment she arrived to make sure we were on schedule, happy, comfortable, and enjoying the day. Her professionalism, calming and warm personality, and talent are exactly what I needed on my wedding day. Prior to the wedding Thalia made sure we had a shot list if everything we wanted and made sure our vision would come to life through her work. Her organization and communication made working with her stress free. My biggest regret is not having her stay the whole night. Do yourself a favor and hire your photographers and videographers for the whole length of the event! Im so so glad we found her!

She has such an eye for detail, an attention to all of the important moments that you want captured - even if you didn’t think of it yourself! She was extremely dedicated, a pleasure to work with, and her photos speak for themselves! I had SO many positive comments on just the sneak peaks! Tatiana Kiseleva Photography

5.0

Long Island City, NY
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,000

Hi! I’m a New York-based photographer currently residing in Long Island City, New York. But it all began in Siberia, Russia where I was born and raised and was supposed to live happily ever after working in the financial department of an airline company. But after a few years I decided to make a big change and move to New York City, the city that conquered me with all of its happenings, grandeur and diversity.

I could not rave about Tatiana more! I didn't have a coordinator or planner, but Tatiana (with the help of my bridesmaids) kept the "getting ready" shots moving and managed to get all of the pictures of my dreams. She was so incredibly kind and by the end, she felt more like a guest who happened to have a camera. She was unobtrusive -- I never felt like I was being bombarded with wedding paparazzi -- and still didn't miss any moments. Her candid moments were probably my favorites, especially since it helped me remember a night that went so quickly! She also sent us a lovely memento box along with our flash drives of photos. I know they will be treasured along with all of her photographs that are already all over our walls 3

Colby Blount Weddings

5.0

Astoria, NY
  • Photojournalistic style

Colby Blount is an award winning fashion and wedding photographer. Born and raised in Georgia and now calls New York home. He loves merging a stylized vision with a photojournalist eye to help tell stories that feel real and authentic.

When my partner and I first saw Colby's work, we knew he was the perfect fit for us. His photographs are romantic and dreamy but still somehow edgy and modern. We reached out to Colby and heard back quickly. We met for coffee to talk about what we were thinking for our wedding. Colby was receptive, professional, patient, and kind through the whole process. When we changed our mind about things, he adapted. He remained calm, cool, and creative through our engagement shoot as well as our wedding day. If Colby had only delivered a few good pictures, we would have been over the moon-- but he absolutely blew us away with our photos. We will cherish these for a lifetime. Cannot recommend him enough!

IT FEELS LIKE I HAVE ALWAYS HAD A CAMERA IN MY HAND. I GREW UP TAKING PHOTOS ON MY DAD'S OLD CAMERAS AN HAVING AN IMPROVISED STUDIO FOR DEVELOPING OLD FILMS WAS GREAT. WHEN I WAS 15 MY DAD BOUGHT ME A CAMERA AND I QUICKLY FELT IN LOVE WITH THE ABILITY TO CAPTURE MEMORIES AND FREEZE MOMENTS IN TIME. A FEW YEARS LATER, I AM A PHOTOGRAPHER BASED IN NEW YORK CITY BUT THAT LOVE FOR CAPTURING AUTHENTIC MOMENTS WITH REAL PEOPLE HAS NOT CHANGED. IT'S JUST AMAZING HOW A PASSION FOR PHOTOGRAPHY TURNED OUT TO BE MY DAILY JOB. I AM REALLY BLESSED EVERY MINUTE OF MY LIFE. I HAVE MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE NOW.

Sascha Reinking Photography LLC

5.0

Long Island City, NY
  • Photojournalistic style

The day you get married to your best friend isn’t about the size of the venue or the number of guests. It’s not about the flavor of the cake or flower arrangements. It’s simply about two people madly in love with each other, the intimate connection they share, and the memories they create along the way. After the food has been eaten, the presents have been opened, and the dress is hanging in your closet, your wedding day will still be with you – in your memories and in the images captured that day.

Sascha was so wonderful to work with!! I was completely overwhelmed with the amount of options we had available to us. I ended up narrowing down by the type of style I saw within photographers portfolio's. Sascha seemed to capture couples in their natural-at-ease compatibility. I reached out to Sascha and throughout our entire communication he was prompt at responding. We booked 4 months in advance and I did have an idea of the type of photo I was looking for. Sascha welcomed my location suggestions and we mapped out a game plan. The day arrived and though we were nervous to be in front of a camera, Sascha made us feel at ease and helped us feel comfortable in front of the lens. Sascha was easy to banter with and was flexible with angles and shots. We left Sascha after the shoot feeling excited and anxious on how well our vision translated to photos. When we got the photos back we could not be more pleased!! They came out exactly how we wanted them to and I couldn't have been more grateful to have found someone as talented, gracious and kind as Sascha.

How many times in your life can you say: “I have fulfilled something so meaningful that it not only makes me happy but complete strangers as well?” I get that fulfillment every time I step into a wedding, an engagement session, or even capturing a new born. I love capturing the moment that exist right when a groom takes a look at his beautiful bride and can’t help but shed a tear of joy. These unfiltered moments make my job that much better. I live for those instances, where raw emotions are revealed and I can piece together a story worth telling.

To date, there are only two images of me as a child. The first is my passport photo at the age of 1.5 months, the second is an image of me at the age of 8. Because of this, I have a deeper understanding, value and passion for photographs and imagery. With that said, I purchased my first camera at the age of 16 with my first paycheck! (used to flip burgers at a local Roy Rogers!). With that camera, I quickly learned how much I loved the art of documenting life with imagery and in 2012, I left a 16 year career in healthcare to follow my dream of becoming a photographer. I haven't looked back one day since then.

•down to earth •always cheerful •in love with her job •hits her deadlines •knows the ins&outs of the business •Never fails the meet product expectations The only thing you might love more than Nidji's work Is Nidji. She's a pleasure for both her clients and co-vendors. Wedding planning is stressful on every level, even after you've got your ducks in order. With Nidji, you can leave at least that bit of it on the floor.

Creative, modern wedding and elopement photography which captures not only how everything looks, but how everything feels on your wedding day! I bring over 18 years of experience, a calm energy, expert attention to detail and excellent customer service.

Not only was she a dream to work with during a very complicated pandemic booking process, but she was also an extremely calm and pleasant person to be around on our wedding day. She was friendly and creative; she made me feel instantly at ease, which is absolutely not a given. To top it off, the photos were bananas insane good. Like, crazy good. They were so eye-catching that even people I hadn't spoken to since childhood came out of the woodwork to tell me just how stunning the photos were. I couldn't have been happier and would recommend her in a heartbeat.

Documenting the REAL emotion of the day is how we capture those picture-perfect moments. They happen organically, not by force, and I promise you: we're not going to miss ANY of them. = )

We cannot recommend Christopher enough! Throughout the planning process Christopher was available to answer any question we had. Our wedding pictures came out beyond our expectations and we are so thankful he was there to capture our day. Our wedding day started off with some rain and Christopher was able to adapt the portraits to still capture the outside elements we were hoping for. He made the portrait process fun and we were able to stay on schedule even with large extended families. He along with his second photographer Sadie were able to capture a picture of almost, if not every guest! We are so lucky to have Christopher at our wedding and will treasure our photos forever!

Hi! I’m Justin (he/him) and I’m here to affirm your love, make you feel like a fucking rockstar, and dance like a total fool. Oh, and take so many gorgeous photos of y’all. Obvs. My style blends both documentary photojournalism and fine art photography: coaching folks who are shy in front of the camera, then stepping back to capture authentic moments uninterrupted. I’ve been lucky enough to have my work published by A Practical Wedding, The New York Times, GLAMOUR, People Magazine and many other fabulous outlets. I'm a stereotypical Capricorn that loves drag shows, campy horror films, every dog I meet, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

Awarded Best of Zola
I had some emergency medical crises that occurred right before our wedding, that greatly affected my ability and stamina for both wedding activities and photos, as I was recovering from major surgery. He worked together with my husband to edit our planned photo sched so that I wouldn’t have to focus on that. Justin and his assistant/trainee for the day, Scott, literally went so above and beyond. All of our guests were commenting on how devoted and professional they were, and how Justin specifically was as on top of things as the venue coordinator. A lot of things had to be changed due to my situation and the rain. The photos looked so good and I’m so happy with how the day turned out, which Justin was a big part of making happen. I would recommend him to everyone and anyone.

When I am not behind the camera or editing photos, I enjoy short Uber rides to bottomless brunch on the weekends; right now mimosas and I kinda have a thing going on! I have a special relationship with bourbon and FIRMLY believe in putting food on the grill during late afternoons should be the norm. I am blessed to be married to the happiest person on earth (I am so serious), who just happens to double as my favorite person. She keeps me grounded and never fails to remind me how great she is.

We had a great time working with Cesario on our engagement and wedding photos! We picked him because we thought his style matched our vibe (fun and casual), and it was a good choice. We are really pleased with how the photos came out!

I believe that your images should look and feel exactly like you, as if you stepped out of your photographs into real life. My style is natural, vibrant and true to color and I enjoy providing a client experience that is unique, well-planned and most of all, fun! By the time your wedding arrives, my hope is you'll see me as a trusted friend helping you enjoy your day! A lifelong New Yorker, I love combining the creative with the technical and finding the beauty, art and magic in life as well as good food, dancing to 90s jams and my senior rescue cat, Ever.

As Canadians getting photos done in NYC, we weren’t sure exactly where to start but we hit jackpot with Emily! She planned things out way in advance and worked hard to make sure we were able to fit it all in to our timeline. On top of that, her photos were exceptional and she delivered them within the timeline and way more than we could have ever imagined. Since we were out of towners, she also made an effort to make many suggestions of places to go to while we were in the city which is way beyond the call of duty. I would recommend her to anyone.

If you're the kind of couple that would prefer their photographer feel like one of the guests as opposed to a paparazzi, and if when the neighbors complain about the noise, you just invite them to the party, keep reading. I take a documentary-style approach to my weddings. Roaming with a camera, I capture the candid moments and small details that make your wedding unique to you, while making sure to set aside time for a few special portraits.

Stephanie is well worth the price. She’s taken photos of our family starting with our engagement and just did our first family photos with baby. She’s taken pictures of everything in between. Our wedding photos were perfect and we got so many amazing photos each shoot we do. She’s easy to work with, adaptable (we ended up being late to our own wedding and she captured amazing photos of the venue while waiting) and she got amazing photos of my husband who hates his photo getting taking. Hiring her is the best decision you will make!

There is nothing I love more than photographing weddings - a day full of raw emotion and I get to document and make art of out it! I'm a newlywed so I totally get what you're going through! We recently adulted hard and bought a house - next up is a dog! Please tag me in all funny dog videos :) I love occasionally working out, always eating cookies, and watching nonstop romantic comedies - especially while I edit (let's not talk about how many times I've seen Dirty Dancing). Can't wait to meet you!

Absolutely THE BEST! It has been a month after our wedding and looking through our hundreds of wedding pictures just takes us back to that magical day. Michelle does an amazing job as your photographer the day-of but also helps guide you every step of the way during the pre-planning stages. Here's a few reasons why you HAVE to pick Michelle if you connect with her style: *She will make you feel comfortable in front of the lens. We were very unsure as to what to do during our engagement shoot and we definitely did not want our pictures to come out as very posed, stiff or fake. Michelle took care of this in an instant, we got to talk, laugh, tell dad jokes throughout the shoot and our pictures came out like US which is what we truly wanted. The same goes for the day of the wedding, with a 12 person bridal party and multiple family configurations, Michelle was able to make everyone comfortable and naturally pose for our pictures. Not to mention, she was able to organize everyone for the church exit with the rice throw in a matter of minutes! *She will listen to what you want and provide her honest feedback with her years of experience. We were very set of having an engagement shoot in Jersey City not only was it crazy to get there, we got washed out with a huge storm (none the less she got great shots in a matter of 10 minutes!). She suggested we did another try but something more local like where we lived in Morristown. Not only were we more comfortable because we knew where to go, the pictures came out again looking more genuine in our hometown. *She is incredibly professional, takes her job seriously AND has an awesome personality. We got our pictures both for the engagement and wedding within a matter of weeks with some sneak previews the very next day! No watermarks and the possibility of downloading all of them instantly. She does her job with a smile on her face that is just contagious!

We had several little kids in our wedding, and he was so good with them as well. He was not pushy AT ALL and stuck to our "photo list." Our wedding day in Central Park was an absolute dream, thanks to our amazing photographer Amy! We couldn't have imagined our day without her. She was extremely professional, very organized, and most importantly brought a really positive energy. She was so easy to work with from the interview to the wedding day itself, which was really important to us because we were organizing the wedding from Canada. Amy is so experienced and really put us at ease. She was great at getting everyone together for photographs and getting the kids to smile by saying something silly. All of our guests loved her. She also anticipated our needs and just knew the perfect time for a snack or a break. Amy has a great eye for the most beautiful pictures. We knew this from her portfolio but it's really cool to see this in action. She would catch the smallest details, like a water bottle, or a brightly coloured jacket, or people in the background. She scouted the most beautiful locations for us and it was really cool watching her frame the perfect shots. And when we got the pictures back, they really were perfect! Amy's greatest talent is capturing amazing candid moments and people's unique personalities. And because she puts people so at ease, she gets the best photos out of them, even if you're a little camera shy. Amy made our day into something truly extraordinary, and we couldn't be happier with the memories she captured for us!

I’ll also note that my wife - who tends to be a bit particular about things - left me in charge of finding the photographer, and she hasn’t stopped praising me for what a great choice I made with Shelby. We loved that Lindsey got to know us personally so when we finally met for the first time it felt like meeting up with a friend. At our engagement photos, Lindsey made us so comfortable and enjoyed that she didn't make us do pose after pose and instead allowed us to just be a couple hanging out. At our wedding, Lindsey was even more of a rockstar and all of my guests were saying how much they loved her energy. She helped me stay calm during some stressful moments and made sure to check in with my husband and I throughout the day. When we got our photos, our jaws dropped. The photos were absolute perfection and captured my husband and I perfectly. It was so much fun to relive the day through the images and see all the tiny details that slipped by us on such a busy day. Hiring Lindsey was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

We were so lucky to find and connect with Kim for our wedding photos. Planning it for the 3rd time – yes, we are one of those pandemic couples – we were so nervous about having to find someone quickly that we liked. Pictures were one of our top priorities and we were very picky about achieving the right style. Kim hit it out of the park on all fronts. Not only is she ridiculously talented, but she was a breeze to work with from beginning to end. She is extremely kind, attentive, and accommodating. She offered us a last-minute engagement shoot so that we could meet her and to get us comfortable in front of the camera. This was so helpful for us and made shooting for the wedding much easier and relaxing. She also stayed longer than planned to get those few extra special shots walking around SoHo. When we saw our engagement photos, we knew we made the right decision. On the day of, it was important to us to incorporate our home, neighborhood, and adorable pup in our photos. Kim was super flexible and thoughtful of how to do this. She totally leaned in when I wanted to walk to Washington Sq Park for our first look, where we got the “free hugs” guy to take photos with us, then hopped into a yellow cab to the venue. Kim kept us moving and made the best use of the time we had, which was super helpful since we didn’t have a wedding coordinator. The whole day turned out to be perfect and Kim captured it all for us. Every person who has seen our proof book has said “how are you going to choose? They are all amazing…” and I couldn’t agree more! We can’t wait to work with her again.

Images can recreate those intangible elements more fully in our mind, allowing us to relive our emotional experience long after the day has ended.

Salvatore was absolutely phenomenal! He requested a photo shoot list and he nailed every single thing I had on there. He was so easy to work with. If he had an idea for a picture he would ask if me or my now husband would be run it by us or vice versa. The photos came back absolutely beautiful! 10/10 would definitely recommend him for your wedding or any other event! Thank you again, Salvatore!

Hullo! So you're gettin' hitched (YaaY!), but you’re not super into the idea of the overly-manicured wedding. A+ for you, because this is not your parents’ wedding photography. I'm a farm kid who floats between the journalism and art worlds. I love telling stories as much as I love listening to the stories of others. I’m the type of person who makes up musicals for my own amusement and nurses a soft spot for sci-fi and fantasy. If I’m not taking photos, I’m usually dancing. Or cooking. It’s possible I may have a baking addiction and try to mitigate the damage by forcing the goods on loved ones.

Velia was fantastic from start to finish. Clear communications before the day, calm and collected even when we weren’t, and most important of all, the photos are amazing and we’ll cherish them forever. Thank you Celia!

I had the most incredible experience with the photo booth company at my venue! From the moment the booth was set up, our guests were thrilled and excited to capture fun memories. The props were fantastic and added a playful touch to the pictures. The booth attendant was friendly, professional, and ensured everything ran smoothly throughout the event. The quality of the photos was outstanding, and the prints were ready in no time, allowing our guests to take home cherished keepsakes. It truly elevated the entertainment at our wedding and created a joyful atmosphere. I can't recommend this photo booth company enough - they were an absolute hit and made our special day even more unforgettable!

I'm Karen, a wedding and portrait photographer based in New York City but can travel anywhere! I've been working as a photographer full time for the last 10 years and in that time have managed to photograph over 200 weddings or something like that. I'm from Virginia originally and was always interested in photography and got my first big break at a friend's wedding! I moved to NYC in 2011 and live in Brooklyn with my partner Austin and our two dogs Blanca and Bort. We have a very large record collection and love trying natural wines!

Karen was AMAZING. Made us feel super comfortable and relaxed. Handled unexpected circumstances like a pro. Could not have asked for more. We are thrilled with the photos and love showing them off.

After working 10+ years in corporate America in NYC, California and traveling the globe, I found myself wanting more than what the traditional career path had set for me. I stumbled into photography while I was on maternity leave with my oldest and started a side hustle that I had no idea was going to turn into a complete career change years later. From the very first wedding I shot, I knew I was onto something. And ever since then, I haven't looked back.

We absolutely loved working with Kim! She is so talented, creative, warm, and attentive – we could not have asked for a better photographer. She has such a good eye and made sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. We HIGHLY recommend using Kim for your wedding or for any life milestone you want to capture. She finds a way to make your vision into reality in the most special way.

Hi, my name is Millie! I picked up a camera 11 years ago and I've been wholeheartedly devoted to this craft ever since. Through photography, I've come to understand that the meaningful connections I form with others hold a special significance for me and should be documented. My journey has naturally directed me toward wedding photography, enabling me to translate your love into art. To me, nothing compares to distilling love into photographs.

Millie is the best. Point blank. When we received our photos from the engagement shoot, we knew she was going to knock it out of the park for our wedding. Her expertise in both posed and candid documentary style photos really shined in all of our photos. She was so helpful during the planning process and offered us tips and tricks that we didn’t even know we needed. She was easy to work with and honestly a joy to be around. 10/10 recommend.

Hi, I'm Jaci Berkopec! A self portrait of me would include a frozen pizza, caesar salad bag, and a bottle of white wine. But more importantly I am a wedding, lifestyle and adventure elopement photographer based out of NYC. Weddings and elopements are one of my passions because witnessing love and marriage is one of the most beautiful things we can witness. When shooting with me, expect to have tons of fun and lots of laughs because I like to be weird! Life is too short to be normal! I photograph all types of love.

Jaci was INCREDIBLE. We found her on Zola and fell in love with her work. From start to finish she was easy to communicate with, understood our vision, and was very personable. We didn't want any pictures that were too posed or awkward, which I knew was going to be hard because I am so awkward in photos, but somehow we look amazing in every single one. We are going to treasure these photos forever and I am so thankful that we chose Jaci to be our photographer.

Seeing and envisioning the way things will appear photographically for the past 20 years, is a finely tuned skill that I have made into my career.  With every wedding and photoshoot all of my experience with light, composition, and how surroundings and subjects will translate in a photograph is intricately woven into every shot. Weddings are my creative playground combining three of my favorite types of photography into one:  portraiture, lifestyle, and photojournalism.  I love jumping into your day armed and ready to capture the most extraordinary fleeting moments in real time.

Stephanie was fantastic to work with for our wedding photos. During the event, she captured our moments perfectly without ever being intrusive, and the final photos are stunning. Very easy communication. Overall, I would highly recommend Stephanie to anyone seeking a wedding photographer.

When your man hugs you so strong, that you can't breathe or when your dad is crying (for the first time in his life!) listening to your vows at the altar. I do believe, that these un-staged moments are more meaningful than classy portraits on a sunset (but no worries, you'll plenty of both!) If you feel like we are on the same page - let's talk! Write me a few words about who you are, tell me your story and let's create something beautiful together!

I grew up in Amagansett, NY, one town away from Montauk, hanging out at the ocean, riding horses, and photographing my plastic Breyer horse models in different scenarios with my little crappy film camera, always searching for the perfect light. I have since moved on to photographing people with better equipment and I still always search for that perfect light. I now live in the lovely Hudson Valley after a long stint in NYC and Brooklyn where I trained under fashion and editorial photographers before starting my own photography business almost 20 years ago. Full disclosure, I'm a little scared of the ocean.

Cappy is an incredibly talented photographer! She is wonderful to work with and her style is timeless! We recommend her to all of our clients and our clients love working with her. We overwhelmingly recommend her for any event!

We are Ryan + Jillian, a husband and wife photography team. We fell into wedding photography after our own wedding when Ryan's best man/cousin Sean passed away. Receiving our wedding photos while helping plan the funeral was the greatest gift we could have ever gotten. At that moment, fully understanding just how fleeting life truly is, that started our love affair with wedding photography. We love how wedding photography does not have to be corny or grossly over staged. It can be candid, genuine, and provide amazing couples with images that they will cherish for a lifetime.

I've been photographing weddings for nine years and love working with couples interested in authentic moments and stunning portraits. From your getting ready details to your final send off, I blend in seamlessly and document the day like a friend, keeping it fun and stress free. With a style that is timeless and not bound to the trends of the moment, I capture each couple in a unique way and I see you for you.

Awarded Best of Zola
One of our friends articulated what makes Bryan such a phenomenal wedding photographer better than I could: Bryan managed to capture an absolutely incredible, hilarious moment on the dance floor—a photo too inappropriate and embarrassing to detail here, which we will cherish for there rest of our lives—and immediately rushed over excitedly to show us the photo, turned his camera around to capture our reaction, and disappeared again. It was one of the only moments during the reception we actually noticed he was there, but looking through his photos, it’s clear he was everywhere, all at once. There isn’t a moment we remember that isn’t on camera. We cannot recommend him highly enough, especially for anyone who struggles to feel comfortable on camera. He knew our schedule and the list of group photos we wanted better than we did, which took a massive weight off our shoulders and allowed us to be truly present - as soon as he arrived I stopped checking the time, because I knew he had it handled . He is funny and personable and his direction put us at ease in a way that made even our family portraits look almost candid. His shots are gorgeous and dreamy, but natural, and he perfectly captured the joyous and loving energy of our day. We have never looked better on camera.

A dad, a son, a brother and a jack of all trades musician that loves to rock out any chance I get. I grew up in New York City. My inclination towards photography came from classic street photography and photojournalists from all over the world that told their stories through a lens. It made me pick up a camera and start shooting. Now, living in Maryland I shoot all sorts of stories and moments locally, domestically, and abroad. It's taken me a while to figure out what my "thing" is but I've come to figure out that I'm a milestone photographer. The moments your life that have proven to be meaningful -- I'll be there.

The fog machine, sparklers and TVs really made my moments with my husband and dad special. The wedding album and parent albums are such good quality. Over all everything was perfect. Thank you for everything!!

I was introduced to the world of photography the same week I was introduced to the world! All thanks to my Dad, who was never without his camcorder or camera. Because of him, our memories growing up are preserved. Then I got my first camera + tons of film. I documented everything. When film turned into digital, that was a turning point in my life. Since then, my memories, large + small, have been organized on my computer, by year. So I can go back + revisit so many wonderful memories from my life...most which I wouldn't remember without pictures!

Met Nicole while working at a wedding in February 2024. She was very kind to our staff and not in the way at all. She allowed everyone to enjoy the party without blocking views or being rude. Yet managed to do her job with a smile the whole time! She is very pleasant!

One of the most important aspects of a photo is the emotion it conveys. While I have years of training and experience, photographing love cannot be reduced to lighting and angles. Well before your special day. I hear my client's love story. This helps me create eye-catching images that portray the kind of affection that is unique to each couple. I pride myself in being a storyteller-photographer.

My husband and I worked with Anj for our engagement photos in Spring 2023 and our wedding photography on September 30, and we are very happy with the results! Anj was kind, talented, affordable, and a pleasure to work with. We loved our engagement photos in Wissahickon Park. Anj spoke with us before both projects to get a sense of what we wanted, and she understood our desire for unpretentious, mostly candid, true-to-life yet elevated style in the photos. She was excellent in directing our families on the wedding day for posed family and bridal party photos in an unfamiliar location. Several of our family members told us afterward that they were impressed with her organization and clear directions she gave them. And she suggested we have a friend do a video of our first look while she photographed it, which was the best decision we made. The moment was intimate and we forgot she or anyone else was in the room. The pictures of this turned out so well too! She took pictures of me getting ready with my bridesmaids and was well-liked by everyone there including the hair stylists and my little niece. I was really nervous in the beginning of the day and she really helped me feel centered. And towards the end of the night, Anj even helped instruct us how to cut our wedding cake when we couldn't find a staff person at our venue to do so - while taking photos of us at the same time! To summarize, she gave us exactly what we wanted, was friendly and efficient, returned photos in very fast (about 4 weeks), and was very professional and calm. We highly recommend her wedding and engagement photography services!

I began my career a decade ago. As a tour photographer, I began accompanying musicians all over the world. Little did I know at that point the low lights, high energy, and late nights would translate well into my career as a wedding photographer. My start as a music photographer gave me the confidence to navigate even the most challenging and unpredictable situations, and I use the same philosophy now while photographing weddings: keep calm, stay observant, and follow the action.

As a wedding planner, we are always looking for talented photographers to recommend to our clients and Jess is someone we routinely recommend. Her approach to photography is authentic and personal and photos are always filled with so much emotion. She seems to perfectly capture couples in a way that allows you to feel like you know them and their personal story. She is perfect for couples looking to have their day captured naturally and not in a forced style. Along with her talent, Jess is a joy to work with on wedding days. She's a quit yet quick, seeming to always be where she needs to be at exactly the right moment without having a camera in your face. With so many photographers out in the market, it can be hard to stand out, but Jess has seemingly found her place in this industry and her work speaks for itself. Any couple would be lucky to have her capture their day and any vendor is lucky to work alongside her.
