Hey future newlyweds! I'm Jarrod, a wedding photographer that specializes in story telling. Tired of all the bright, overposed, cookie cutter sh*t you keep seeing? Let's create wedding images with real emotion, story, and intention to them. I know being in front of the camera can be awkward. That's why I choose not to pose couples, but instead prompt you to do something like "take off your shoes and run across the field" or " get inside the car and kiss everywhere except the lips". These prompts will help you feel comfortable and also help create candid images. Check out my website for more info :)

I would describe my work as documentary, photojournalistic, and film forward. I use analog film to create emotion, texture, and an overall cinematic quality that can't be created digitally.     Jarrod and his wife, Taylor, are truly a dream to work with! My husband and I really wanted some simple engagement photos taken, but were reluctant because we’re not totally comfortable in front of the camera and didn’t want the poses/photos to look cheesy. Taylor gave us plenty of suggestions to pose us naturally and kept us laughing which put us at ease immediately. Jarrod was such a professional and really worked every angle and background to make it look like we spent an entire day shooting. The editing was super crisp and clean and the photos came back incredibly quickly. They far exceeded our expectations and we can’t thank them enough for giving us beautiful, lasting memories from such an important time in our lives. This couple is seriously amazing - genuine, fun, and experts at what they do!! Book them!

    Jarrod did an amazing job on our wedding day! We were so very grateful to have him there with us. He was absolutely amazing and did a great job collaborating with our other vendors and coordinating logistics and timing of what we wanted to have done. We were so happy that we got videography done for our big day- feels like we’re reliving it each time we watch it! Highly recommend and very worth it!!!
