Question

Is the wedding still a go? (COVID-19 Update)

Answer

Everything has the green light. The big day is happening on the 19th. But due to COVID-19 and not knowing what the restrictions for gatherings will be by our date we have had to reduce our guest list. We completely understand if you must decline; our feelings won’t be hurt. You must do what is best for you and your family.

Question

We can’t attend in person but would love to be there virtually. Will you be live-streaming?

Answer

Yes! Just click on the link https://live.eventlive.pro/happilytheherreras/the-wedding No app or code necessary.

Question

What do I do if I can no longer attend and I RSVP'd that I would?

Answer

That is perfectly fine. You must do what you must. Believe me no feelings hurt on our end. We just ask that you let us know (Deanna or Mike) so that we can update our numbers for our vendors.

Question

How should I dress?

Answer

Dressy Casual, please! We want everyone to be comfortable while still looking their best; especially the photos that you appear in and tag yourselves in. 😉

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

You can bring whomever you want as long your party number equals the number of seats allocated to you. In the midst of the current COVID-19 situation it is even more important that you respect the number of seats we have allocated per guest. We hope you understand. The number of seats we have saved for your party will be indicated on your RSVP card.

Question

Can kids come?

Answer

You are welcome to bring whomever you want as long as your party equals the number of seats allocated to you. In the midst of the current COVID-19 situation it is even more important that you respect the number of seats we have allocated per guest. Please note we will not have a separate menu for children that are attending. The food to be served will consist of a chip and salsa bar as well as a street taco bar with rice, beans, and all the fixings.

Question

May I bring my lightsaber?

Answer

*Deanna shaking her head and sighing* *Mike smiling and excited* Yes, you may. Will you be using it...99% chance of No.

Question

Can I take and post photos from the wedding on social media?

Answer

Absolutely! If you do, please use our hashtag #HappilyTheHerreras so we can see what everyone is up to during our special day! Take all the photos you'd like the day of, and during the reception. However, we ask that you be fully present during our ceremony and keep your phone in your pocket or out of sight of the cameras. We have hired an amazing photographer to take care of those shots for you! But feel free to take all the photos you want AFTER the ceremony. 😉

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

See the Travel section of our wedding website. We have listed hotels that are either close to the venue and the church and family in the area that way you can pick what suits you best. We did not do a room block because the quoted rates were higher than if you just booked on your own.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The ultimate deadline is May 15, 2020 (Make sure to RSVP because we want to ensure that everyone who will be witnessing our alliance will be seated comfortably and has plenty to eat.)
