I honestly have no idea how I would have managed the wedding day without Natalie’s help. I absolutely loved working with her prior to the big day itself—her positive energy paired with incredible organizational skills made the process of organizing all the vendors and scheduling everything a breeze! She truly went above and beyond to ensure that everything went smoothly prior and on the wedding day itself. From contacting all the vendors to helping me decorate the dining table at the venue the eve before the wedding—Natalie was truly there for me every step of the way! And I can’t say enough great things about her managing the day itself and ensuring that everyone was in time despite us getting married during an actual hurricane in NYC with flooded subways and insane traffic! I mean, even with everything going on we weren’t a second late for anything, and the day was super smooth all thanks to her! Perfect set up and break down: For our wedding, we had a lot of detailed DIY set ups and fragile arrangements which Julia and her team were able to oversee, set up, and break down for us which was incredibly important to us – we didn’t break or lose one of our items, and finished all within our allotted hour time frame. From DIY centerpiece florals, to DIY acrylic everything – to our own slideshow and long bar set ups – it was exactly to our vision. 2. Above and beyond with our fur-children: You can count on Julia to also take on all sorts of requests for your big day. We had our 5 dogs in the ceremony which was a critical part for us and her team was able to make that happen despite the extra logistical lifts and practice. 3. Timing: the dress rehearsal Julia led was incredibly helpful to the wedding party and officiant that it set us up for success that on the actual wedding, we started ON TIME and had buffer time for any set backs or emergencies. She was also great at guiding our guests in a swift manner to the ceremony and then the reception room despite the open bar 4. Fun: Although we hired Julia and her team for only the day-of, we felt like when they were with our families, wedding party, and guests, that they were part of our group – they were friendly, social, polite, and incredibly professional. We needed Julia and her team on the day of our wedding, we just didn’t realize and appreciate it even more so until the day-of. I have worked in event planning for a few years now. For weddings in particular, I have always worked on the vendor management side of things. When my vendors constantly asked why I wasn't a coordinator myself, I realized that I hadn't even considered it.

I hired B two months before our wedding to help not only narrow down logistics but also be the Day Of Coordinator. In my experience, If you’re very picky, hands on, and hate delegating, full service might be more than you need. I was glad that she was okay with being hired only two months before and that she just dove right in. She noticed hiccups that I hadn’t thought about and gave me a list of so many questions to avoid issues on the ay of. I am so grateful that I was able to find someone so inexpensive who’s just doing this because they love love. Who does that these days? My family was definitely ranting and raving about her because she took the time to get to know people’s names and called them by their names. She made sure that not only we were good but that our parents and grandparents were good as well. She helped us save some money on venue related things and certain vendors. Honestly, I would have paid her WAY more for everything she did. I tipped very generously because in those last few months before a wedding Is truly where the larger stressors start to take a toll. I know that people may be hesitant to book before of the price point but I guess I thought of it as, because I am paying nothing that I have nothing to lose. She is a diamond in the rough—I’m telling you. I’m literally in tears as I type this because my day was so tricking amazing!!! THANK YOU!!!!

Congratulations! You’ve just found the best coordinator ever! My husband and I knew we wanted a “day of coordinator” (so we thought it was called) but did not know exactly how much to prioritize or what to ask for. And then we pretty much stumbled upon Emily after posting in a local facebook group about needing a coordinator and we are so grateful we did. We’ve actually joked to one another that our only wedding regret is not having hired Emily to plan the whole thing. Emily is professional, personable, and an incredible problem-solver. Emily does coordination, which means she actually jumps on board a couple months in advance to get you organized and get all of the vendors together. However, it would be a mistake to say she only gets involved at that point—from the moment we chose Emily, she checked in consistently, asked how she could help, and gave us leads as we navigated picking vendors. When we hit the 8 week mark before the wedding, Emily began initiating more meetings and gathering all of the information she needed. We did a venue walk through and a meeting dedicated to decor. This is all to say—Emily has got your back. Additionally, she is always working behind the scenes to make sure everyone is on the same page. Leading up to the wedding, we had been very organized, but of course, in the week or so before the wedding, it felt like total chaos. We added people to our hair/makeup schedule. We had to add a last-minute vendor that totally changed the flow of our set-up. Suddenly three days before the wedding, the forecast called for rain. Emily took this all in stride. She reassured us that our feelings about anything were valid and then promised she would figure out whatever we wanted to have happen. She always had multiple solution-options for every moment of chaos we felt. And then once we had decided what we wanted, she made it happen! On the day of the wedding, I was completely worry-free because I knew Emily had everything under control. Apparently a few things went wrong that neither my husband nor I knew about until later because Emily just handled it (she did check in about one thing that had been important to us, but when she asked about it, she came with multiple solution options for me to pick from). She also goes above and beyond to make anything right if there is a need to do so (all wedding have things go wrong!). All-in-all, you want a coordinator who is on top of things, but you also want one that you want to spend your day with and Emily strikes that balance perfectly. We were actually sad when our wedding ended and we realized we wouldn’t be chatting with her as regularly!

I was on the fence about a coordinator but since I only had 4 months to plan I knew I needed some help. Agnes was absolutely amazing. She responded to me at 11pm when I was overthinking a floor plan, was extremely responsive via text and email every time I reached out. I am very detail oriented and thank god she is exactly the same. Everything from the timeline to the floor plan to the set up list was meticulously put together. Day of Agnes couldn't be there so my day of coordinator was Brenda who was absolutely amazing. There was one snafu with a rental company that did not deliver on time and Brenda snapped into action. Even Agnes who was at a different event put time and effort into helping find a solution from a far. We hired Mia 10 days out from our wedding as our original event coordinator wasn’t being as responsive as we had hoped and it was leaving us stressed out and anxious. Mia immediately hopped on a call with me that lasted well over an hour and jumped in and took lead on everything from the coordination of the DJ, string quartet, catering and rentals to ceremony timeline and all the little details in between. Aisle Planner is the primary software her and her team use and it’s a great addition to see everything from high level as well as to be able to drill down into the details. We were doing a wedding across the county and had never seen the venue in person, and this software really helped us visualize the day and collaborate with Mia. Mia truly went above and beyond. I had a specific whiskey I was looking for and she went herself to pick it up from the store. She always texted and emailed back right away. The day of the rehearsal, we noticed a few items at the venue were not up to par and she immediately went into action and handled them and made adjustments on the fly. We had a lot of very specific requests, some on very short notice and she made it all happen. On your wedding day, you want to feel at ease and like everything is being handled so that you and your guests can have the best time. Mia and her team will make you feel that way.

Planning a wedding half way across the country can seem daunting but Vanessa makes it so easy. My friends always comment that I must love wedding planning and I am the least stressed out bride but all credit goes to Vanessa. She literally carries all the stress. She is your friend, planner and therapist. I work a full time job and often call her on my drive home and we will start with how my day was and then we move to wedding details. She will always have your back. She has an extensive network of vendors she has worked with but also is always open to my suggestions of vendors I find. She has literally saved me thousands of dollars. My fiancé and I joked that she is our bodyguard in this crazy wedding industry world. Both of us are highly educated but Vanessa knows the right questions to ask and she also knows when something is not right. She is there to protect you. She will go over the details with a fine tooth comb. She will find people who fit your budget and style. She cares so much for her clients. She acted as intermediary, communicating with both groom and bride and vendors to refine details; sparing me the hassle. I always expect the unexpected, and as a very few MINOR glitches arose, Annie managed them efficiently. I was well aware of the details, but when the time came for THE Rehearsal and Welcome Dinner, and THE Wedding and Reception, everything exceeded my expectations as it magically coalesced into a literal "DREAM COME TRUE"! (and my daughter had been dreaming about her wedding since the first time she watched Cinderella) I thoroughly enjoyed the event we hosted, THANKS to Annie. When we first saw Meredith at the wedding, she was in her element. She had the staff working to make sure the drinks were stocked, guests knew where to sign in, the dJ and the Photo Booth knew where to setup, the caterers knew where to be and more. She could not have been more professional. Upon the completion of our photos, we realized that we were going to have to move the timeline up. Meredith told us that would be no problem and immediately began making sure all necessary parties knew the update and got where they needed to go. As the night came to an end, it was such a weight off of our shoulders knowing that we didn't have anything to worry about. I would recommend Meredith and Ekklesia Events with any family member or friend looking for a wonderful wedding coordinator.
