When is the RSVP deadline?

What time should I arrive for the wedding?
Answer
Doors will open for seating at 3 p.m. Please plan to arrive at about 3:15 p.m. so everyone can be seated before the ceremony starts at 3:30 p.m.

What is the schedule of events?
Answer
Doors open at 3 p.m. for seating. Wedding ceremony is at 3:30 p.m. Cocktail hour will be from 4-5:30 p.m. Grand entrance is at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner. Dancing will begin at 7:30 p.m. with the last dance at 11:30 p.m.

Is there free parking?
Answer
Yes. There is a large parking lot next to the venue. You can also park on the street.

Is the wedding outdoors or indoors?
Answer
The wedding ceremony and reception will be indoors in air conditioning. The venue is next to a park so there is a lot of outdoor space, too.

What is the dress code?
Answer
We have chosen a semi-formal or cocktail attire. See this article for more information: https://www.theknot.com/content/cocktail-wedding-attire Please leave white and ivory for the bride. Remember to bring comfortable shoes for dancing.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
We will have an open bar for a limited amount of time with beer and wine offered for a longer period of time. Remember to bring some cash for later in the evening and for tipping. Please plan a safe and sober ride home.

Can I leave my car in the parking lot overnight?
Answer
Yes. We would suggest you remove any items of value, but cars are safe to leave overnight in the parking lot if you choose to catch a ride with someone else or take an Uber or Lyft to your hotel or home. Please plan a safe ride.

Will it be easy to get an Uber or Lyft?
Answer
There usually are several available in the area, but we would recommend pre-booking a ride to reduce wait time, especially toward the end of the evening when several people may be using the service.

How far is it from the recommended hotels to the venue?
Answer
It is about 2.5 miles from the venue to our three recommended hotels.

Will there be food options for those with dietary restrictions?
Answer
We are having a buffet with various food items so you can take what meets your dietary needs.

Are children invited?
Answer
We love our big families and all of our friends, but with more than 175 aunts, uncles, and cousins and a total guest list of more than 275, the only young children invited to the wedding are those in the wedding party and their siblings. Thank you for understanding.

Is it OK to take pictures with my phone during the wedding?
Answer
During the ceremony, we ask that you please put your phone away and leave the photography and video to the professionals. After the ceremony, during the reception and dance, we encourage you to take photos and share them with us after the wedding by emailing them to amandazurn18@yahoo.com.
