We met at a college frat party and started talking about a video game we both played called Overwatch. After going back and forth for hours about all the other games we played, he invited me to play Overwatch with him the next day after classes. He thought I wouldn't show up, but I did! I asked for his number after playing Overwatch together in the dorm study room all afternoon, and we started officially dating 2 weeks later.

We were on a cruise to Cozumel. The second night of the cruise was formal night, so we all dressed up and went to get our pictures taken before dinner. After several backdrops, Michael and I found one that matched our outfits perfectly. During one of the shots, the photographer asked me to turn around. I didn't think much of it so I did. He then asked me to turn around again and Michael was down on one knee. He asked me to marry him and I said yes!
