Zoe thought Dan was a creep when they first met. He was just some boy that had come into her class halfway through the course and buggered the numbers. Dan, on the other hand, very quickly decided that Zoe was the one for him. She took some convincing, but they've been inseparable ever since that first date on the 25th of November, 2018. They were meant to go out for a nice day trip, instead, Dan was beckoned in by Zoe's mum and they spent the day putting up the Dyble family Christmas decorations. At least he knew what he was in for from the very start.

On the 29th of August 2022, Dan proposed to Zoe in front of Cinderella’s Castle at Walt Disney World. Despite a humid mixture of Dan’s nerves, 28 hours of travelling, Zoe running out of the pictures in shock, and Dan forgetting his prepared speech, the question was successfully popped and the surrounding crowd was adorably impressed (there was applause and everything). Zoe and Dan then completed their magical holiday with proudly displayed ‘Happily Ever After’ badges (delivered by a Disney cast member who literally ran), and lots and lots of pictures with huge smiles and a beautiful (Disney) ring.

The elegant Rise Hall has been Zoe’s dream wedding venue since she was little. Initially, Zoe thought she would have to leave this dream behind as she didn’t know if Dan would want a wedding like that but, after their first visit, Dan fell in love with it too.
