What is the weather like in Northern Michigan in August?

Answer

It's gorgeous! August is typically sunny with highs of 78 degrees and lows of 60 degrees. The sun will set at around 9pm creating beautiful sunset views across the lake.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal. The ceremony will be held outdoors along the lakefront with a cocktail hour immediately following. Dinner will be served indoors followed by a live band and dancing outdoors on the terrace.

Are children welcome?

While we love your little ones, we are unable to extend the invitation to children.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is complimentary self and valet parking provided by the Inn at Bay Harbor directly in front of the main entrance to the hotel.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes! Please note on your invitation response so we can plan accordingly. If not included in your response by June 1, we will unfortunately not be able to accommodate additional guests.
