Emily and Jason’s love story began when they met at a snowy ski house weekend with friends in New Hampshire. The temperature? -30°F. The skiing? Didn’t happen. The tequila? Ice cold. Emily was impressed that Jason carried a second cell-phone for work (big shot). Jason was smitten when he read Emily’s short stories from college, and wasn’t at all upset when she beat him in flip cup. The rest, as they say, is history.

♥ August 1, 2019 – After a year and a half of endless drives between Hartford, Boston, and NYC, Emily and Jason moved in together! ♥ October 6, 2019 – As responsible adults, Emily and Jason decided they wanted to wait to get a dog at the right time. So after two months of living together, they did the responsible thing and got a dog, named Rocky. ♥ 2020 – Peak pandemic. They made makeshift masks, did some “social-distancing,” tried some trendy recipes, and never got sick of each other. ♥ July 4, 2021 – Engaged! Emily and Jason shed some happy tears, had a few overly-alcoholic-vodka-popsicles at Domino Park in Williamsburg, and shared the joy with their families. Jury still out on if Emily ever actually said yes…
