Question

How do I get to Sapphire Point?

Answer

Sapphire Point is located in White River National Forest. Approximately 4 miles from I-70 on US 9 heading South towards Breckenridge, turn left, heading east, onto Swan Mountain Rd. (Co Rd 1). Continue for approx. 2 miles to the top of the hill to Sapphire Point parking lot. Approximately 5 miles from I-70 on US 6 heading South towards Keystone, turn right, heading west, onto Swan Mountain Rd. (Co Rd 1). Continue for approx. 4 miles to the top of the hill to Sapphire Point parking lot.

Question

Are kids or plus ones allowed?

Answer

Due to limited venue space and budget, only the names that appear under your reservation are invited.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Preferred semi formal dress. Bring a light jacket/windbreaker for the ceremony. We will be up on the mountains and it can get windy and chilly. Look your best, you will be in pictures!

Question

Will there be somewhere to sit?

Answer

Yes! Our wedding coordinators will set up 15, 2 person benches. There will be plenty of seating available.

Question

Why are you getting married in Colorado?

Answer

Ryan and I traveled to Denver over a year ago and fell in love with all the natural beauty of the mountains. We enjoyed hiking and exploring all the popular sites. Colorado has some of the best weather too! We really loved being here and thought it would be a great place to share with the ones closest to us.

Question

Will I need a rental car?

Answer

You will! Breckenridge/Dillon is about 2 hours from the airport. Colorado does have shuttle services available, but it may be better to book a rental car. Also, please let us know if you plan to get a rental car as we may have someone else who you can split the cost with.

Question

Do we have to stay at the hotel?

Answer

No! We have a block of rooms at the Homewood Suites in Dillon for our guests, but please feel free to book elsewhere. Breckenridge is a tourist hotspot, so I suggest looking at hotels or Airbnb's in Frisco, Dillon, Keystone, or Silverthorne. Please remember that we are having our cocktail hour and dinner service at this hotel. This makes it convenient for those who would like to change, or not have to worry about driving.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Following the ceremony, we will take pictures in Sapphire Point and have some dessert at the ceremony site. We will be at the ceremony site until about 1pm. After all pictures are done, you are free to venture out locally to the shops, bars, or head back to your hotel. We will have a few hours in between the end of the ceremony and when cocktail hour begins at the Homewood Suites. After the cocktail hour, everyone will be served dinner in the same space.

Question

Will you be accepting gifts?

Answer

We will have a space for cards if you wish to give us a card. Please no gifts at the reception. Since we are flying, we will not have a way to transport back any physical gifts you bought for us. If you would like to gift us a physical item, please have it shipped directly to us, or give it to us beforehand.
