Kayla and Sam's story begins back in 2015 the way most great modern romances do, with a swipe right. A few messages were sent back and forth, but nothing concrete ever developed... until a few years later when they bumped into each other in person. Sam had moved back to D.C. after graduating from the University of Florida and Kayla had recently graduated from the University of Maryland. The two ran into each other when out at Public Bar in D.C. where Sam instantly recognized Kayla, the Ravens cheerleader. With Jeff Robinson as Sam's wingman and Alexis Roffeld as Kayla's wingwoman, sparks flew and the two have been inseparable ever since. Sam took Kayla on their first date to Jaleo in Bethesda where Kayla was unexpectedly introduced to some of Sam's closest girl friends Julie, Marcella, & Nikki. After 2 years together, they decided to move to Miami as Kayla chased her dream of becoming a physician assistant. It was there they made their first home together and welcomed Brady boy, their first born (yes, he's a dog). After finishing grad school, Sam and Kayla moved back home to Maryland. We all know Kayla couldn't stay away from Wheaton for long. They are excited to be close to family and friends and start their lives together!
