We’re getting married!

Zack and Amanda are getting married! Welcome to our website, we are very excited to share our special day with you! We have created this website as a convenient and interactive way to share all of the important details leading up to the wedding. We would also like to advise everyone to book flights in advance for our new wedding date Saturday July 9, 2022. The summer is the busiest time of the year to visit Seattle. Our story began in 2016 when Zack drove up to Connecticut to meet Amanda for their first date. At the time, Zack was in school at The United States Military Academy and Amanda was attending Sacred Heart University. Zack made the hour drive to meet Amanda at her favorite restaurant. After a long dinner with many laughs and commonalities exchanged, Zack and Amanda felt that they really hit it off. As the year went on, Zack found himself on many adventures with Amanda at Sacred Heart and in the surrounding area. Over that year, Zack and Amanda explored New York City, visited Napa Valley, and ventured to Key West. It was during these many adventures that Zack and Amanda discovered that they were meant to be together. The following year Zack had to move to Ft. Benning, GA, to attend Infantry Basic Officer Leader Course. Although the distance between them increased, Amanda made a concerted effort to visit Zack in Georgia. Throughout the course of that year, Amanda would fly down to Georgia from New Jersey a few weekends each month so that they could spend a few days together. They made the most of the time they spent together by frequently visiting Destin, Florida and the surrounding areas. Following Zack’s graduation of IBOLC, Amanda decided to move across the country with him to his next duty station at Joint Base Lewis McChord, WA. The couple and their three cats found the Pacific Northwest to be an amazing area with many activities to do. From the Bavarian Christmas Village – Leavenworth, WA, the mossy coastal forests, and the majestic Mount Rainer, Zack and Amanda explored the area and continued to grow together as a couple. Over the Summer of 2019, Zack proposed to Amanda at sunset on the Puget Sound where she said YES! While engaged, the couple spent their time together hiking, at local breweries, sporting events, and relaxing on their lake. Zack and Amanda continue to find joy in their time together and look forward to a lifetime of happiness.

Due to the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 and the fact that their original wedding had to be rescheduled, Zack and Amanda decided to solidify their love legally in a small ceremony involving only direct family on October 11, 2020. However, the couple is excited to host the larger wedding to celebrate their love and renew their vows!
