Maid of Honor
She's my go to for just about everything: dressing up to go out on the town, mani/pedis, yoga, hiking, and therapy sessions with wine. I once made her hike for 8 miles up a mountain in Yosemite in December, we almost got frostbite, and she still goes places with me. What more can I say?
Best Man
We met when we were in the same training class together at Charles Schwab in Indiana, right after college. We've traveled the world together, he's been by my side for years, and he is always there for me when I need someone or something. It's easy to call him my Best Man!
Bridesmaid
We met at a Kickboxing Certification, took turns being each other's bosses at Orangetheory and Rolling Hills Club, and quickly bonded over our love for Complete Cookies, working out, and all things Disney. She is the Moana to my Elsa. If we end up at a karaoke bar after the wedding Heather has volunteered to be your backup dancer for your big solo number.
Best Man
Basil is my younger brother by three years. We grew up together and spent a lot of time riding our bikes and scooters around town, playing games, and playing basketball in the driveway. Although we live far away now, our bond is still just as close.
Bridesmaid
She is basically my little sister, and fits right in with her Beatles obsession which is shared by myself and Zack. Fun fact: When Natalie was little I read her the entire Harry Potter book series out loud... twice. Now she goes to Uni in London... so basically Hogwarts.
Groomsman / Honorary Best Man
He's the life of the party! Even though I left for college when he was only five years old, Jake and I have a strong bond. As a member of Gen Z, Jake gives us frequent updates on what is drip to keep us from becoming too cheugy. If you don't know what drip or cheugy mean this is your sign that you need a Gen Z update from Jake.
Bridesmaid
We met in elementary school, were neighbors and rode our Razor scooters back and forth from each others houses, played Neopets, and stayed up all night watching movies. This smarty pants PhD wonder woman is the ONLY reason I passed Trigonometry in high school.
Groomsman
Adam and I were hall-mates in the oldest un-air conditioned dorm in college. Fraternity parties, eating Mad Mushroom cheesy bread at 3am, pulling an all-nighter cramming for an exam at the Wells Library, drinking insane amounts of caffeine.. We've done it all. He's the kind of person that you know truly cares about you, and I'm honored to call him one of my best friends.
Bridesmaid
She was Zack's bestie in college but I love her so much I am stealing her for myself. We met on a group trip to Tahoe back when Zack and I were just friends, and even with almost 2,000 miles between us she is the kind of person who can keep a friendship up and running, even from afar.
Groomsman
Shawn, "The World Traveler," and I met for the first time exchanging cash at the Walmart near Indiana University. We needed one more guy for our Spring Break trip, and I found him on the IU classifieds. Shawn ended up joining us and he has been one of my best friends since! Shawn will forever be 29 years old (ask him about it).
Ring Security
Alex is an avid hiker, maker of mead, and all around good human. If you ever come across Hiveworks Mead in your local grocery store... he made it, and you should definitely try it! Friend of the bride for 13 years, he is the perfect person to entrust with the wedding rings for five minutes. But really though, don't mess with him.
Flower Guy
What is a "Flower Guy" you ask? Come to the wedding and find out.. Dan was friends with both Bride and Groom but the pandemic really sealed the friendship when he joined our "Quarantine Pod" and was one of our ONLY friends for several months. While he is an excellent attorney, he also moonlights as a therapist in case anyone needs to talk to someone after he does his Flower Guy gig. For all legal, psychological, and floral needs #bettercalldan
Usher
A-Aron. Irwin. The man, the myth, the legend.. The Silver Fox.. Aaron is the guy everyone loves. He has been a role model for Zack and helped take care of him and Basil when they were little. (Ask him about the "Cheeburger Cheeburger" song).
Usher
Gabe.. When I was a kid, I always looked up to Gabe, my cousin that is about 5 years older than me. He had all the cool games and knew a lot. We got to experience some fun cousin times such as: From hanging out at the "Starlight Lounge" on the family cruise to me crashing his apartment in Cincinnati for a month when I was doing a stint for work there.
