Maid of Honor
Steph and I have been friends since our nerdy middle school years when we joined Science Olympiad together. One of my favorite memories with Stephanie is sitting together on the marching band bus covertly singing musicals and eating extra snacks from the competition meals. Our friendship deepened over our mutual passion for learning, reading, and Jesus. She is the most generous and selfless friend I’ve ever had, and I would not be the woman I am today without her friendship and love.
Best Man
Even though we shared a room for seventeen years, Nate and I grew most as brothers after high school, where we really started enjoying some of our shared passions together. When we are skiing together or playing piano duets, Nate's contagious energy and love for life inspire me to not waste a single moment. But more than that, Nate's wisdom and encouragement have been a source of strength and support for many years. I am so blessed to have him as an older brother, and I am even more honored to call him my best friend.
Bridesmaid
Amber and I met freshman year of college when we joined a Navs bible study together. We bonded when we started doing Zumba. (Shaking your hips with somebody on a weekly basis helps form a fun friendship.) She brings sunshine and joy into my life. Amber is a spunky, lovable, and fierce friend, and I am so excited for her to move back to Fort Collins.
Groomsman
Zach and I had the opportunity to work together (and even share a room) at Lost Valley Ranch. Through all the stressors of working maintenance jobs, God's allowed us to form the friendship we now share. I have been blessed by time spent with Zach having deep conversation or playing board games, and I look forward to more of both on double dates with our wives!
Bridesmaid
Rose and I started getting to know each other in the middle of college, and I am so thankful that I met her. She is a beautiful woman inside and out. We can talk about Jesus and life together for several hours and it will feel like minutes. One of my favorite things about Rose is her pursuit of wisdom. I always feel encouraged after I spend time with Rose and cannot wait to see where the Lord takes our friendship.
Groomsman
It is hard to meet someone who matches my love for intricate and complex board games, but Josh has proved himself more than capable wiping the floor with me when it comes to strategy. But more than that, his uplifting spirit and spontaneous (and hilarious) personality can brighten my mood any day. I love having him as a roommate, and I look forward to more games or deep talks with him, whichever comes first.
Bridesmaid
My first memory of Emma is her smile and hospitable spirit. From the day I met Emma I have felt welcomed by her and look forward to calling her my sister. One of my favorite things about Emma is her love of adventuring - she is such a fun person to explore with! Emma is also incredibly sacrificial and loving. I enjoy spending time with her because she has a beautiful heart of worship.
Groomsman
I first met Drew when at an evening game of capture the flag, I heard someone beatboxing next to me. I decided to join in with my own beatboxing, and a year later, we were roommates! I have loved getting to know Drew since then, and I am inspired by his passion for Jesus and love of encouraging others. And if the music stops working during the wedding, I know exactly who to call for help :)
Bridesmaid
I am so honored to know Anya and call her my future sister. She is a wise, creative, and thoughtful woman. I remember when Zach and I went to her for some advice about dating and she really helped us navigate our different communication styles (future counselor perks). I enjoy talking to Anya because she is super insightful and brings up complexities that I would not have initially considered. One of my favorite things about Anya is her sweet and sassy personality.
Groomsman
When you work every day in a kitchen with someone, you spend a lot of time working together. So it says a lot that after David and I got off of our cooking shifts at Lost Valley Ranch, we almost always spent the next several hours hanging out playing music, competing in (literally) hundreds of games of chess, or just talking about theology. I have missed him dearly since I left the ranch, but despite being apart, I have always considered him a closer friend and brother, and I can't wait to celebrate this day with him.
Bridesmaid
Sydney and I met on RoomSync (the college roommate finding application). I had procrastinated on looking for a roommate and could not believe it when I found a girl who loved both Jesus and snacking. Sydney and I were a perfect fit for each other! We had a lot of fun being roommates and laughing together as first years. One of my favorite memories of living with Sydney was our quote wall where we put funny things we had overheard that day. Sydney is a dear friend who never fails to make me laugh.
Groomsman
Tate and I first met during a missions trip in Thailand, where we connected over our shared experiences of growing up overseas (me in China, Tate in Kazakhstan). Several years later, we ended up living together for a year in Fort Collins, and since then, I have loved seeing our friendship grow and deepen. I know that whether I need someone to talk to after a long day or just a friend to watch anime with, Tate is always there for me. It is hard to find a friend as loyal and dependable as Tate is, and I am honored to have him in my life.
