They say God's timing is perfect, and Lauren and Zac's story is a shining example of that. In a city overflowing with churches (over 1,000!), the Holy Spirit somehow orchestrated their paths to converge at a brand new church plant, one that hadn't even built its own space yet! Talk about a needle in a haystack! Lauren felt called to lead a Bible study, and the Lord blessed her with an amazing ability to do so. Meanwhile, Zac, maybe with a gentle nudge (or perhaps a metaphorical "slap upside the head" from the Spirit!), also found himself drawn to the same study. For six months, they shared this small group experience, their faith and love for God growing alongside their connection. Then, Zac felt the call to lead his own study, but the initial turnout wasn't quite what he envisioned – only two people signed up! But fear not, because God had a plan. In a twist that could only be divine intervention, merging the groups seemed like the most natural solution. And so, Lauren and Zac began leading Bible study together, their shared faith and passion for guiding others forging a deep and meaningful connection. It wasn't until a whole semester later that Zac finally mustered the courage to ask Lauren out on a date. The rest, as they say, is history!
