Our Story
On August 8th, 2014, Zach and Tekla met for the first time at Porthouse Theatre. As Tekla likes to say, it was love at first sight with a lot of bullshit to follow. Through four years of determination and love, Tekla and Zach graduated from Kent State University in 2018 before moving to New York City. For two years, they enjoyed their careers on Broadway and living their dreams, even though they had to schedule date nights via Apple Calendar. Once Covid hit, Tekla and Zach packed up their bags and moved to Burlington, Vermont to try their hand at the slower life. Four years later, they haven’t left and cannot wait to invite their cherished family and friends to celebrate their love here in Vermont.
