The dress code is formal. Formal wedding attire sits between cocktail and black tie on the wedding dress code scale. It's slightly more elevated than cocktail attire and a touch less dressy than a black-tie. Women can wear a floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit. Men have the option of tuxedo if desired, or suits with ties. Look sharp!
We love you and your date (probably) but due to limited venue capacity please do not bring a guest unless your invitation specifies that you have a plus 1.
With the exception of our flower girls and ring bearers we will not have kids attending the wedding. We want this to be a fun night off for parents. If you are interested in getting help with childcare options for the evening please let us know.
There are many hotels in the Temecula area that are a close drive to the wedding events on Saturday and Sunday. Please check the "Travel and Accommodations" tab for information on how to book the Pala Mesa Resort, where Zach and I reserved a room block Saturday and Sunday. For out of town family hoping to stay extra days in the San Diego area before or after the wedding weekend there are a few options: 1. East County: close to the Butera, Bertsche and Cuomo houses; book in La Mesa or El Cajon areas (e.g. Best Western Plus La Mesa, Courtyard Mariott El Cajon, Singing Hills Golf Resort). Mike and Teresa will host a pool party at their home on July 3rd for anyone who is still around so it may be nice to be closer to them if you want to join in on that. 2. San Diego West: near the airport/downtown/beaches; There are tons of high quality hotel options just expect some rough traffic getting around and a further drive since it is a holiday weekend. 3. Mission/Fashion Valley area: if you'd rather be in the middle between the Butera family and all the San Diego attractions further west, there are a whole string of nice hotels here. It's about 15 mins from great stuff in either direction.
