Over the span of a few weeks we made plans to get together that were ever growing. What started out simply as going to see Godzilla turned into a full day of fishing, hiking, meeting Mom Mom (Zac's Grandmother) then finally the movie. (We don't remember eating that day but at some point we must have!) That day Lydia, the lady that she is, dug up a worm with her fingers and ripped it in half for them to share as bait.

After waiting many moons this day was perfect! We were visiting Lydia's mom in Berlin and while she was at work we took Charlie for a walk in the park. There is a wall ball court there that is all fenced in so we let Charlie off leash to run around for a bit. Zac told Lydia to put a timer on her phone to take a family picture. While kneeling down with Charlie, Lydia wasn't sure why Zac wasn't looking at the phone so she looked over and he was holding the open ring box. Lydia swiftly told him to "get out and go home" and asked him "are you serious?" ALOT! Finally she said YES! We celebrated that night in true Maryland style, eating crabs followed by Island Creamery!
