Can I bring a date or my kids?

Answer

In order to keep our guest list on track, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

What is the dress code? What will the weather be like?

Answer

Formal attire! Suit and tie for men, nice dress or jumpsuit for women. Summers in Seattle are typically hot, dry, and sunny with average high/low temperatures of 75/55 degrees in July. A majority of the wedding will be held outdoors under a clear tent - please dress accordingly.

How do I get from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

Uber/Lyft and Google Maps Directions: Navigate to "2500 W Marina Pl", not "The Admiral's House". When crossing Magnolia Bridge, stay in the right lane and be ready to take an off-ramp down towards Elliot Bay Marina/Cruise Terminal (**this exit occurs halfway across the bridge). The venue gates will be straight ahead after exiting the bridge. When you arrive at the gate, a shuttle will bring you to the venue entrance. https://www.uber.com/global/en/cities/seattle/ Uber has the option to reserve a ride 30 days in advance. Where should I park at the venue?

Answer

If you are driving, there is free parking in front of the venue gate. Overflow parking can be found along W Marina Pl in the small lot on the left hand side.

Can I take pictures with my personal phone/camera during the wedding?

Answer

During the wedding ceremony, we would like to ask our guests to please refrain from taking photos on personal devices. However, feel free to take as many photos as you'd like to after the ceremony! We just ask you please be mindful of the professional photographers at the wedding and allow them to help us capture this special day!

What if I have a dietary restriction?

We will have gluten free options available. Please let us know if you have any other special dietary restrictions.

Is there a registry?

Answer

Please know that your love and company on our wedding day is already a gift! However, if you do wish to celebrate with a gift, cash or a check made out to Joseph Cheng would be much appreciated as we do not have an online gifts registry.

I am worried about COVID. What are some things I should know?

Answer

The wedding will largely be held outdoors, and all windows will be open in any indoor spaces that are used. Masks will not be required for guests, but we completely respect those who would still like to wear one! We ask that you please bring your own mask if possible, but there will be masks available for those who need it. We will also be providing hand sanitizer and closely following state recommendations. If you have any known COVID exposure or feel symptoms within 10 days of the wedding, please refrain from attending. Please let us know if you have any other concerns and we will do our best to address them.

I will not be able to attend the wedding in person. Will there be a virtual wedding stream?

Answer

There will not be a live virtual stream. We will be happy to celebrate and share videos/photos with you at a later time!
