We're getting hitched!

Anna and Matt met on eHarmony. Their first date was at a bar and restaurant in Arlington, Virginia called Liberty Tavern. One drink led to two, and then a third. Their second date was at the local Top Golf, where Anna whiffed on her first tee shot. Turns out Matt is a MUCH better golfer and field hockey skills don't translate well to golf. Their third date was to see Chris Kattan do stand-up/reminisce about his days on SNL at the Arlington Cinema Drafthouse. The rest is history...

COVID-19 thwarted Matt's original plan to propose on a trip to visit Anna's alma mater in Williamsburg, Virginia in April. Instead, Matt proposed at home in June in the back garden him and Anna built together over a glass of Cardhu whiskey from a bottle they purchased while visiting Scotland in 2018. It was simple and perfect (and the Cardhu was delicious).
