FAQs

The Wedding Website of Elizabeth Dianne Honsalek and Christopher Paul Harlos
We understand you might have questions about the details, so please feel free to reach out to us. If you have any other questions or concerns on the day of or leading up to the day, please contact our wedding planner, Brooke Leeder at 210.540.5434.
Question

WHEN IS THE RSVP DEADLINE?

Answer

Please notify us by call or mail in with the exact headcount of adults and children, both above 10 and below 10 ON OR BEFORE the FIRST of MAY!

Question

Will there be parking on the premises?

Answer

Yes! We will have an usher as well as signs at the front gate and along the front road to direct you to the parking lot. You will be shuttled to the ceremony location once safely parked in our parking lot. Upon leaving the ceremony site, you may drive into downtown Comfort and park right on High Street where all the fun will happen. There should be plenty of parking available!

Question

Will there be dinner?

Answer

Yes, just following the ceremony, we request all guest to head straight to the Ingenhuette to enjoy light refreshments just before dinner at 8:00 pm.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The weather should be in the mid 80s to high 60s. The ceremony will be on our private family ranch, while the reception following the ceremony will be held at the beautiful Ingenhuette on High in downtown Comfort (5 minute drive by car). That being said, we request you dress in "ranch formal attire." This meaning, closed toed shoes (preferably) and a light jacket for evening for ceremony, with a change of shoes to dance in at the reception (for the ladies).

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 6:00 p.m., HOWEVER, the ceremony will be taking place on top of one of the hills on the land. We request that all guests arrive NO LATER than 5:00 p.m., so they can be transported up the mountain in time for the ceremony. IF YOU ARRIVE AFTER 5:30 p.m., you will not be permitted to be transported to the ceremony. We kindly request that if you arrive late, please wait in the cocktail reception area until the end of the ceremony.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We love kids, but we understand that weddings are not always the most kid-friendly places. That being said, those kiddos 10 AND UP are welcome to join the reception dinner and dancing portion (PLEASE RSVP), while we invite any children under 10 years old to a separate "reception area" where we will have "kid-friendly" food (pizza and juice), and a number of babysitters. It is just a 1 minute walk, at the Meyer's Inn next door. A perfect distance to feel they are safe and looked after, and for you to check on them at any point during the night. PLEASE NOTIFY US WITH THE HEADCOUNT OF CHILDREN ABOVE/BELOW THE AGE OF 10 IN YOUR RSVP CARD!

Question

Is this an indoor or outdoor wedding?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors, while the refreshment hour and reception will be held inside a large industrial style building located in downtown Comfort. We recommend bringing a change of shoes if you'd like to wear heals (ladies) to the reception!
