Cocktail Attire

In case you are not familiar with the Redfield Estate property, we want to inform you that it is primarily an outdoor space. We want you to be as comfortable as possible, and while the reception will be in/under a stone-structured pavilion, we ask you to be mindful when you plan your wedding attire — if weather permits, you will be walking on a short (3-4 minute) forest preserve trail and lawn to the seating at the Gazebo where the wedding ceremony is to take place. You may find flat or wedge shoes most practical, and an umbrella or wrap beneficial for the fluctuating climate changes we could experience in one day. Also please note, when you enter The Grove property off of Milwaukee Avenue, follow the drive forward to access the east parking lot (furthest from the entrance) - it is the closest lot to our festivities. We have been assured the ceremony will start promptly, so please plan accordingly. We are excited to be sharing this special day with you! -Sarah & Matthew
