The Bride and Groom first met when they were both in college. Yedidya was a student at Parson’s School of Design laying the groundwork for her eventual career in fashion. Adam was living a few blocks on Cliff Street while studying at NYU. They happened to cross paths in the pasta aisle at the local Jubilee supermarket and there was instant chemistry. They continued to see each other until that summer when Adam left for his internship in Eritrea. As is the case with young love they grew apart over that summer and lost touch. While the exact details are murky about why they stopped seeing each other how they reconnected is quite clear. Almost exactly twenty years later, they reconnected thanks to social media. And the spark was rekindled on their first date when Adam took Yedidya out for brunch in Greenwich village. People say love makes you crazy and sitting outside for brunch in February is definitely a little nuts.
