First of all, everywhere is a destination if you're not already there. Second, I don't know how I feel about you taking that tone about the fine exotic locale of Wilmington Delaware. Seriously, though, there were a number of obstacles that made a tropical destination wedding challenging, so we're happily staying local (for us) and being able to accommodate more of the people that we care about.
At this point in our life child-friendly would mean we'd be inviting forty or so kids. As a result, children will be limited to anyone that lives with us and flower girls. Plus their dates of course.
Nope! Everything is taking place in one location, so no need to worry about driving to multiple places or catching shuttles. There is plenty of parking, rooms available on site, and even a bar for the after-partiers.
Yes! There are many stresses associated with planning a wedding, and most of them are so cliché I thought we were ready for anything. Alas, we were not prepared for the daunting challenge of determining how big of a room block to get (which is saying something, since I'm a data analyst for a major bank). If the room block is full, let us know, and we can invoke our magical powers to try to get it expanded.
