We met shortly before the pandemic began, in what feels like a different world. Brought together by our shared passion for food, we made gnocchi from scratch on our second date and knew right then we were meant for each other. We went on a few more dates--all involving food, of course--and then the pandemic hit, sending us both packing to our respective parents' homes in Baltimore and Staten Island. After a few months of long-distance dating and endless FaceTimes, we decided to see each other again in person. Two weeks later, we practically moved in together and have been inseparable ever since. We got engaged on New Year's Eve on a dock in Weehawken, New Jersey, overlooking the New York City skyline. It was frigid, but we were surrounded by our families, who came armed with gloves, masks, and plenty of hot cocoa. Because of COVID-19, we're opting for an intimate, socially distanced wedding in July 2021, but whether you're there in person or watching (virtually) from afar, we can't wait to celebrate with you!
