When looking at the weather from the last year, prepare for weather in the mid to high 60s and 70s. With temps dropping to the low 60s at night.
The dress code is garden attire or cocktail attire. Cocktail dresses, floral prints, and suits are welcomed! For those who like wearing heels, the ceremony and reception are held on grass, so try not to wear stilettos or skinny-heeled pumps. The cocktail hour is held on a desert like dirt. We would suggest comfortable shoes to wear or change in to for later. Also, bring a light sweater or cover for when the sun goes down. It may get chilly!
Due to limited capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones at our wedding unless specifically indicated on your RSVP. If you are confused, type in your name, and you will see who is in your party. We want everyone to share in the celebration and will ensure that folks will be around familiar and friendly company. We appreciate your understanding!
We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults only event with the exception of a few children in our immediate family, children in the wedding party, or newborns. We encourage you to use this weekend as a fun getaway! Feel free to check your RSVP and reach out to Lauren and Evan for clarification.
We will have a fabulous photographer capturing all the special moments of the event. With this in mind, we kindly ask that no photos or videos be taken during the ceremony. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many as you like!
We DO NOT want anyone drinking and driving. Unfortunately, the Botanic Gardens do not allow cars to stay overnight in their parking lot (there are plenty of spaces in their lot). We would suggest carpooling with a designated driver or taking an Uber/Lyft. We will have a special discount code for and Uber or Lyft to use for the wedding day. Stay tuned for more info!
