Nicholas and Jenna met through online dating after what felt like a lifetime swiping through countless “matches.” Little did they both know that the only thing separating them had been the Tappan Zee Bridge. After speaking online for a month, they decided to meet in person. Originally from Rockland County, Jenna met Nicholas for their first date at Sunset Cove in Tarrytown, NY on September 11, 2015. After hours spent talking about their lives, interests, and dreams for 4 hours as they shared drinks while overlooking the Hudson, it was safe to say that they were a match. On October 23, 2015, the boy from Westchester officially asked the girl from Rockland to be his girlfriend as they sat in his car listening to “Waste My Time” by Saint Asonia. From there, it was nothing but adventures filled with football games, binge-watching TV series, adding Buster into the mix, eating new foods, and growing both together and individually for those next 4 years.
For five years, Jenna and Nicholas have been driving to Cape Cod during the summer months to spend time with his family by the beach for vacation. Dennis Port had been the place where Nicholas and his family would spend their summers laying on the beach, riding boats, playing mini golf and eating the freshest seafood. As Jenna spent more time in Cape Cod each year, she too began to enjoy these same things and, to no one’s surprise, developed a hearty appetite for lobster and all the finest seafood. As Nicholas and Jenna started their usual early morning walks with Buster and Nicholas' father on Miramar Beach on July 11, 2020, little did she know Nicholas had been planning his move for this very ordinary moment. To her surprise, Jenna turned around to find Nicholas on one knee, asking her if she would be Mrs. Gisondi. Wearing no makeup, a tank top and hair tied up in a bun, Jenna undoubtedly said yes as Mr. Gisondi captured it all on video. Walking hand in hand (with a gorgeous ringed-finger) they continued their beach walk as the future Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Gisondi.
