Question
Will transportation be provided?
Answer
We want you to relax and enjoy our Big Day, that is why we have arranged complimentary transportation to the wedding ceremony and reception. Shuttles will depart from the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel to the Hammond-Harwood House starting at 3pm until the last shuttle at 3:20pm. The shuttles will return after the wedding ceremony, and transport over to the reception at the Annapolis Yacht Club. There will be no transportation provided after the reception.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
There will be limited parking available at the Hammond-Harwood House, and parking at the Annapolis Yacht Club is for AYC members only. Parking is available at the Calvert Street Garage (free to park, 0.4 mile walk to ceremony) and also the Noah Hillman Garage (pay to park, 0.4 mile walk). The Noah Hillman Parking Garage is just a 0.3 mile walk to the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel (where the shuttles for transportation will be) and the Annapolis Yacht Club. There is also street parking in town around the ceremony and reception venues. However, given it is a Navy home game day, downtown Annapolis will be fairly busy and parking will be limited- please plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive at the Hammond-Harwood House Garden by three-thirty in the afternoon.

What is the dress code?
Answer
The dress code is black-tie optional. Women are requested to wear formal floor length dresses, or dressy separates. Men can wear either black tie or a dark suit with a nice tie. The ceremony will be located in the garden, and cocktails & dancing will be on a terrace, so please choose footwear accordingly.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We love children (especially yours), but we’d like you to join in the celebration and enjoy a night off, so we’re requesting that the kids be left at home with a sitter.
