Things To Do

We're so excited to share a few of our favorite things to do around San Marcos and New Braunfels, TX while y'all are here!

Meadows Center Glass-Bottom Boat Tours

201 San Marcos Springs Drive, San Marcos, TX 78666
, (512) 245-7570

Head over to The Meadows Center for a very cool San Marcos experience – the Glass-Bottom Boat Tour. The 30-minute tour of Spring Lake allows you to see the very bottom of the lake through a glass panel on the boat. You’ll see lots of flora and fauna, as well as the springs that give the lake its name.

Krause's Cafe

148 South Castell Avenue, New Braunfels, TX 78130
, (830) 625-2807

We went here on our first date! Needless to say, it went well. ;)

Tanger Outlets San Marcos

4015 Interstate 35, San Marcos, TX 78666
, (512) 396-7446

Kylie's favorite place to shop!

Gruene Historic District

New Braunfels, TX 78130

Ice cream, shopping, wine, Gruene Hall (oldest dance hall in TX), this is a beautiful place to stroll around and eat some amazing food! Our favorite here is Cantina Del Rio.

Wimberley Glassworks

6469 Ranch Road 12, San Marcos, TX 78666
, (512) 393-3316

Amazing hand blown glass art!

LBJ Museum

131 North Guadalupe Street, San Marcos, TX 78666
, (512) 353-3300

The Lyndon Baines Johnson Museum of San Marcos commemorates the formative role LBJ’s years as a college student and school teacher played in the landmark Great Society legislation he passed as the 36th president of the United States between Nov. 1963 and Jan. 1969.
