Tampa Riverwalk
The Tampa Riverwalk is a 2.6-mile-long (4.2 km) open space and pedestrian trail along the Hillsborough River in Tampa, Florida. The Riverwalk extends along most of the downtown Tampa waterfront from the Channelside District on the eastern terminus to the mouth of the Hillsborough River and then north along the riverside to Tampa Heights, forming a continuous path that connects a multitude of parks, attractions, public spaces, and hotels.[2] Among the notable points of interest along the Riverwalk are the Tampa Bay History Center, Amalie Arena, the Tampa Convention Center, Rivergate Tower, Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, Water Works Park, and the Waterfront Arts District which includes the Tampa Museum of Art, Florida Museum of Photographic Arts, Glazer Children's Museum, and the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. We toured this on a day date visiting friends and loved it.

Amature Works: Armature Works is a historic mixed-use hub ripe for exploration — full of unique experiences, innovative eateries, memorable events and everything in-between. This is located right in front River Walks.
Ybor City
Lively Ybor City is known for boutiques and vintage shops on 7th Avenue, which also hosts Cuban and Latin American eateries. The Centro Ybor mall offers indie fast food, bars, and a cinema. Housed in a 1920s bakery, Ybor City State Museum has exhibits on the cigar industry and the area’s immigrant communities. The GaYBOR district around 7th Avenue and 15th Street attracts a diverse crowd to its bars and clubs. And who can forget about the protected street chickens...this was our biggest surprise while touring downtown. Take a stop at Dysfunctional Grace, a shop of curiosities that shouldn't be missed.
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is the ultimate family adventure, combining world-class thrill rides, live entertainment and more than 12,000 animals. Challenge a 335-foot drop tower, Falcon's Fury, or race like a cheetah on Cheetah Hunt. Busch Gardens' newest attraction, Cobra's Curse puts a spin on family thrills with this one-of-a-kind spin coaster.
Empower Adventures Tampa Bay
Challenge yourself with a way-up obstacle course at Empower Adventures Tampa Bay. Take on 3,000 feet of ziplines, conquer the 200-foot over-water suspension bridge, and move through other obstacles – all without ever touching the ground!

Tampa Theatre
The not-for-profit Tampa Theatre hosts more than 600 events a year, with the focal point being its Mediterranean-style courtyard. With flowers and stone gargoyles sitting under a breathtakingly-designed night sky mural, it’s a perfect spot for the ‘gram.
International Plaza and Bay Street
Indoor mall with name-brand stores & high-end designers, plus a mix of casual & upscale restaurants. The Capital Grill is terrific, we ate there on our 5th dating anniversary.
