Taylor & Ben first met back in 2014 through Taylor's college roommate. The two stayed in touch as friends for 3 years sharing songs, "Happy Birthdays", and "How are you's?". Taylor graduated from Texas A&M (Whoop!) in 2016 and decided to further pursue her music career by packing up and moving to Nashville, TN., while Ben was completing his senior year at Baylor University. Little did Taylor know, Ben was planning on making the move to Nashville, too. In 2017, after he graduated, he made the jump. Taylor was on her lunch break walking near the streets of music row when she heard, "Taylor?!" She turned to see Ben standing there with his guitar in hand, smiling right at her… and the rest is history! Ben decided to move back home to Longview in 2020. Taylor followed shortly after to be with Ben and be closer to her family. While on a special music trip to Nashville together in November of 2021, Ben got down on one knee and popped the question (in the city where their love began) with both families in the room. Now, they are ready to tie the knot in the place where they first met!
