Dear Family and Friends, Thank you all so much for reaching out to us in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. We are very grateful for your support and are feeling very lucky to share that we will still be able to have our wedding celebration on November 16th. There will be a few changes to the day's events, however, which we've provided below. The ceremony will now start at 4:30 pm and guests are welcome to arrive at Weaver House beginning at 4:00 pm. The celebration will start with a cocktail hour at 5 pm, followed by dinner and dancing. After the celebration concludes, we will have an after party at the Montford Rooftop Bar. These updated details are in the "Schedule" tab. We've had many of our out of town friends and family reach out and ask how to help out Asheville in the wake of Hurricane Helene. One very easy way will be to support local businesses while you are here. Asheville has many coffee shops and restaurants that will benefit from your patronage and very cute shops where you can do your Holiday shopping. If you are packing light with a carry-on, you can still support Asheville businesses when you get home through the Love Asheville From Afar campaign: https://always.exploreasheville.com/love-asheville Many trails and other outdoor recreation activities remain closed. We suggest double checking online whether an amenity is open before traveling. We have updated the suggestions in our map located in the "Things to Do" tab to reflect our best knowledge of what is open. We are fortunate that our lodging in downtown Asheville and our venue in Weaverville were left largely untouched by the storm. For our visiting guests, we ask that you keep in mind that while our celebration can carry on as normal, many people you will interact with here may still live in other much more deeply impacted areas and everyone is still recovering. We are so happy you can come celebrate with us and are incredibly proud of the community we live in. Thank you all for your support and love, we are so grateful. We can't wait to see you soon! All our love, Ethan and Elizabeth
