Courtney and Matt met in 2014 as freshmen at Salve Regina University in Newport, RI. They became close friends, which grew into more during their senior year. On May 18, 2018, just two days before graduation, they made it official. The two moved from Newport to Boston together just one year later and have never looked back.

On a rainy morning, Courtney followed Matt as they walked through their old neighborhood of Beacon Hill on their way to “brunch.” They turned onto picture perfect Acorn Street where Matt surprised Courtney with the engagement ring of her dreams and asked her to marry him. Later, many of their friends and family surprised her yet again to continue the celebration at Teddy’s on the Hill.
