We are thrilled to announce that we officially tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on November 11th, 2023. Although we decided to celebrate our love with a private ceremony, please know that you were in our hearts and thoughts on this special day! Now it's time to celebrate, so come party with us!

Alex’s sister Heather and good friend Jackie Yoder (the photographer) convinced Savannah that her and Alex were randomly selected for a “model call” they applied for. Jackie is primarily Sarasota/Bradenton based and doesn’t typically shoot within the St. Pete area. Jackie posted on Facebook looking for “models” for this specific photoshoot located at Fort De Soto beach. There were MANY others commenting, hoping they would be chosen for this special “shoot”. Alex and Savannah lived very close to the Saint Pete Beach area so apparently she felt that they would be the best option for this special “shoot”. Alex, Savannah’s family, his family and her best friends were all in on this. Alex had already met with Savannah’s father, Doug, a few weeks prior to ask for her hand in marriage. Her two best friends Cynthia and Carrie were at the beach (hours prior to the day of the photo shoot) setting up while they began their photoshoot with Jackie. Meanwhile, Savannah’s two best friends were hiding under a nearby boardwalk basically in the bushes. The “Marry Me” sign kept blowing over and the park ranger kept driving by yelling “parks closed!”. They definitely had to stay and protect the sign. (Savannah was still so clueless) Alex walked her to the “marry me” sign at the end of the shoot and she knew. Savannah’s family, Alex’s family, and her best friends were all waiting at a nearby restaurant to celebrate right after.

Alex and Savannah recently purchased a home together in the heart of Saint Petersburg, Florida. This home is perfectly located for the both of them due to their family and current location of employment. Alex is a pilot currently working for a private jet charter company that begins majority of his flights out of TPA (Tampa International Airport). Alex just recently graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University where he received his Bachelors of Science in Aeronautics. Prior he was enlisted in the US Navy, stationed in San Diego, CA for four years. (Yes, at the same time Savannah lived there… small world ;) Savannah is currently working as a critical care nurse at Tampa General Hospital. She is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Nursing at a program located in Tampa, FL.
