How we Met 1998 We met in the training room of Slippery Rock University when an injured basketball counselor strolled into my training room with a broken nose. We were there for four years together and continued our journey from there. 2004 We got married in a small church ,Saint Patrick's, in Franklin Pennsylvania where I grew up. We were surrounded by friends and family and memories were made, such as when the reception caught on fire and the fire trucks came and took polaroid's with the evidence camera. 2007 We had our wonderful son Kameron at Harrisburg Hospital. 2010 We hit a rough patch of Life and sadly decided to go our separate ways. It was not easy for either of us, but we knew it was what was best for our family at the time. We attempted to live normal lives separately the best we could for our family. 2016 Then, we met a group of amazing families and joined a little baseball team called Eagle Baseball. This family of ours brought us back together through their love, support, and friendship. We all bounded over beers and baseball. 2017 After what would have been their twelfth wedding anniversary a controversial letter was written to Shawn by Krista (after much encouragement from many friends for the two to talk) expressing how much their family meant. Two days later at a wooden bat tournament, Shawn approached Krista. Well that day the world stop turning for a moment. Everything disappeared and it was as though they never were apart. The made a vow that their world started over again and would never look back. 2018 They all moved back into one home together as a family. It was the happiest they had all been in a long time. Smiles were present, love was there, and many friendships blossomed and the addition of two dogs and a cat came along. July 4, 2021 On Wrightsville beach at 10:20 in the morning, Shawn and Kamo asked Krista to officially rejoin their family. The world was once again "officially" complete.
