We were both working at Wal-Mart at the time and I was working hard, as always, it was towards the end of the day so I was in the clearance department zoning as Robert came out of the back pulling a cart. I looked and the rest was history! We started to talk and we had mutual friends that wanted us to all hang out. We started to hang out a lot after work and he would always stop at the jewelry counter to talk to me. We would text and always call each other every day. If I was home and bored, he said okay I’ll be there shortly. He would pick me up and drive us to go get milkshakes. He definitely knew all the right cards to play.

We were swimming at the house when he got out and said “Let’s go get pictures taken of the mustang”. I just thought, oh boy here we go with the mustang pictures. So I get out and try to find something kinda cute because he also said we can take couple pictures. Now this was a rare thing because he hated taking all kinds of pictures taken ... What can I say? I’m picky lol. Anyways, we leave and head towards Whitetop Mountain and go to a overlook. Nobody was there and he said it was perfect. We get out and we had Hannah go with us to take pictures. We get pictures of the mustang and then Robert says we should go over to the grass to get pictures of us. We are getting pictures done and he is behind me. He starts to say he can’t wait to spend the rest of his life with me. He can’t wait until we build our house and have kids and grow old. He kept saying he loves me and how beautiful I am. He then said he wants to always have me in his life. He starts to move his hands and I turn around and BAM, he is on one knee! He asked me to marry him and I couldn’t hold back! I was so shocked. I told him YES YES YES! And by then we saw a couple has pulled in and watched the whole thing. They started to clap for us and Robert clapped back with them. Now we are here :) We are excited for the next chapter in our life Can’t wait until we see y’all!!
