We have a modern love story! We met through mutual friends at college and social media. Austin slid into Lauren's DMs and said "do you like pizza?" She said, "yes", He said, "do you want a piece of me?", She said "absolutely!" and the rest is history.

In between semesters, Austin lived in Brooklyn Park and Lauren lived at school in Winona. We spent that summer texting, calling, and facetiming, sometimes until 4 in the morning! Austin planned a weekend to go see Lauren for the first time at the end of July. He was so nervous, he got there a half hour early and drove around the block a few times! After a few deep breaths, he texted Lauren that he just parked and she ran out to greet him. She went for the hug and he went for the kiss! The first time ever seeing each other in person!! They took Finn to go get ice cream at Lakeview.

Austin had planned the perfect proposal. He had made sure Lauren got everything she wanted; her family, his family, her best friend, an outdoor location, and lunch at her favorite restaurant. Almost too perfect... She knew exactly what was coming.
