Our Story
We met how everyone seems to meet now-a-days...on a dating app. After both swiping right, we met for beers and trivia at Vasen Brewery. The conversation was easy, and it was already clear we both had a competitive side. We continued doing everything we love in Richmond together - going to semi-professional soccer games, eating tacos and drinking margaritas, walking around Belle Isle, attending family & friend game nights, and being way too competitve playing pickleball, tennis, and disc golf.
As Emily finished her Nurse Anesthesia program in December 2022, Chris helped her navigate the job market, study for boards, and cheered her on at graduation! To celebrate ,we went to Breckenridge, CO. After a day of skiing, Chris proposed on January 24 on the way to dinner on a winter wonderland bridge.
