Andrew and Rachel met in 2017, while studying at Georgetown University where they were both members of the student advisory board for The Center for Social Justice. The first day they met they learned that they grew up 30 minutes away from each other, both living on the North Shore of Massachusetts before heading off to Georgetown (Andrew insisted that no one really lives on Plum Island!). 7 years later, Rachel and Andrew have made a home together in the DC area with their husky/german shepherd mix, Theo. Andrew works as a lawyer and after 3 years in international development finance, Rachel is pursuing a career as a physician. They share a love of cooking, staying active, and traveling. Rachel and Andrew will exchange marriage vows in Kauai, Hawaii, in May, and look forward to celebrating their union with family & friends back home on the coast in Massachusetts.
