"Years ago, when I surrendered my love life to God, He put in my heart the number 821, but I didn't know what it meant and sometimes doubted. Then in spring 2021 I met Annie, an incredible friend with a hunger for God, but when she started to become more than a friend, God put on both of our hearts to take a break from talking and give the summer to Him. We officially started talking again on Aug 21, 2021.

That next summer, not only did we get to spend the entire summer together working at PCC, but God gave me permission to ask Annie to marry me, helped me find the ring, and worked through a series of events that led me to pick August 21, 2022 as the day I would propose.

Then it all started making sense. The 21st was the same day we began talking last year, it happens to be '8/21,' and on that day I wrote to her a message that God put on my heart about considering the cost of getting married to someone sold out to Jesus. I read this message again before proposing." - William
