Amanda & Will met how a lot of their generation meets now: on Hinge. In April 2022, Will was stuck in a tiny AirBNB in The Netherlands with his friend Brandon while they both were sick with COVID. Will decided to swipe through Hinge and saw Amanda. Meanwhile, a month later after Amanda decided to redownload Hinge, she matched with Will. Will’s original Hinge message was full of misspellings and grammar mistakes due to COVID-brain, but there was a spark from the beginning! Will & Amanda’s first date was at HG Supply Co. The manager of the restaurant bought the entire restaurant tequila shots to celebrate the sunset and Amanda & Will looked at each other wearily while holding the shot. Neither one took a sip and the initial spark continued. Fast forward a few months and Will & Amanda were spending lots of time together cooking, reading, watching TV, and hanging out with friends. Will & Amanda adopted a puppy, Norman, and Amanda became dog mom to Kylo. In September 2023, Will brought Amanda to the Adolphus Hotel in downtown Dallas and proposed. It was a beautiful proposal and made even more special because a few of their friends were hiding in the closet ready to celebrate! Will & Amanda can’t wait for their wedding weekend in Fredericksburg and so look forward to being with all their friends and family in the Hill Country.
