What time does the wedding actually start?
Answer
4pm Sharp! The ceremony will not be delayed because of guest lateness.

Is the ceremony/reception indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors (weather permitting). The reception is indoors with plenty of AC!

What if it rains?
Answer
No worries! The ceremony will be moved to the beautiful historic chapel on site!

Can I change my "no" RSVP to a "yes"?
Answer
Unfortunately, not at this time. Please only give a "no" RSVP if you absolutely can't make it. Feel free to contact us in the event of emergency or unforeseen circumstance.

Is the venue handicap accessible?
Answer
Yes, of course! Ramps are present, along with closer parking. Upon arrival, please communicate to the Milton Ridge staff on site so you may be accommodated in every way possible.

Plum purple, lavender, navy blue and sparkly silver. You are more than welcome to match the décor if you desire.

Am I allowed to bring plus one?

Unfortunately and respectfully, no. If your name alone is on the invite, the invite is for you alone. (i.e. if only Bert is invited.. he can't bring Ernie!)

I have a plus one that can't come. Can I replace them?

No surprise guests please. Please contact us if your plus one can't make it. (i.e. don't bring a friend in place of your hubby. please let us know first.)

Can I bring my children?
Answer
Naw. We appreciate the difficulty of being away from your kids for a wedding, but there is a capacity limit at the venue which includes even babies.

Will there be an open/cash bar?
Answer
No. But there will be a variety of non-alcoholic drinks available. If you need alcohol to have fun at a party, please drink before or after. But let us remind you of Ephesians 5:18 - "Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit" :-)

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Yes, of course. But please do not stream the wedding. Also, please do not disrupt the wedding or stand in front of guests for a picture.

No. If someone has not received an invite please ask the mother of the bride :-)

What's the closest hotel to the venue?
Answer
Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Germantown (11 mins from venue) 20260 Goldenrod Lane Germantown, MD 20876 301-428-1300 1 king bed or 2 queen beds are blocked for our wedding! The rooms will be provided at a discounted rate under "Benton/Mayah" wedding reservation code EG3. The rooms will be discounted for 8/17-8/20, though you may book for any date within this range. One day is fine. Please book by 7/16 to secure discounted rate.
