Covid Update

This has been the craziest year to plan a wedding with all the changes that have come. There are now new restrictions placed by Kentucky’s governor that will not be lifted until December 13th and possibly extended. With that being said, Will and I have decided to continue with a new plan and get married in front of our immediate family and bridal party on our original date. We are heartbroken we will not be able to celebrate this moment with everyone. We will find a way to stream the ceremony and send a link for whoever wants to join from afar!! We hope you understand that this was an extremely hard decision and we are very saddened by this recent news! Stay safe and healthy!! Cara and Will

HOW WE MET

9-20-2015

Will and Cara both attended the University of Louisville. When fall semester came along, Cara went to her best friends birthday party, her maid of honor, and that is where they first said hello! The party ended up being at Will's house. They didn't know each other, but they both just started talking and hit it off. They were side by side all night talking and laughing. Now he will claim he saw her first, but she thinks the opposite. They soon became inseparable!

THE PROPOSAL

12-7-2019

It was Cara and Will's 4th anniversary and Cara ended up calling to reserve a table at their favorite restaurant. This was the restaurant that they always had our last date before Will left for season so they had been there a few times. They ate and Cara was so full from dinner that Will could not get her to get dessert. He even tried telling her that all she had to do was take one bite. She still said no! The server came and cleared the plates and they sat there for a couple minutes talking. All of a sudden Will starts off by asking Cara if she knew why they were sitting in the corner of the restaurant and as she was answering, he got down on one knee and asked Cara to marry him. She said "YES!" A photographer was there to capture the moment! Of course she had to start making all the calls to tell all family and friends. When they pulled up to their home, Cara walked inside to a surprise party with all of our closest friends and family! It was a night to remember. We are so excited to start this next chapter with you! See you in the 'Ville!
