Mount Major Trailhead
Our FAVORITE short hike in the area! The blue and orange trails range from moderate to steep inclines and take about 1-hour to the top with beautiful panoramic views of lake Winnipesaukee.
Morse Preserve Trailhead
An easier, flatter hike that still has beautiful lake views! 1 to 2 mile options, elevation about 300 feet.
Gunstock Mountain Resort
Hiking, ziplining and a chairlift to the top of the mountain. Check the website for specifics ahead of time!
Lake Cruises/Tours
Take a narrated tour of Lake Winnipesaukee or another nearby lake!
Kancamagus Highway Access Road
One of the most scenic drives in New England. If you are staying the weekend and have the time, the entrance is about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Wolfeboro. There are restaurants and wineries up this way as well, and you could spend some time exploring Franconia Notch State Park.
