The summer of 2013 was the first time we meet. Dylan was with his best friend Koby they were hitting baseballs over the creek at Richie Ashurburn Field in Tilden. I was with my best friend Hailey just walking around town when we seen Dylan and Koby at the Field. We approached them and talked for a bit then went our separate ways. Since that day we never forgot about each other. Then in 2014 I transferred to Tilden Public School and was in the same class as Hailey, Koby, and Dylan.

Koby sent Avenley Dylan’s Snapchat. We had some small talk like how are you. And then shortly after that Dylan made the bold move and asked me what I was doing Friday evening. I said nothing (even tho I had plans) and he asked if I wanted to hangout. Obviously I said yes. Dylan never said it was a date. But he wouldn’t let me pay for ANYTHING. Also he insisted on picking me up. I then began to think this is more than just a couples friends hanging out. It wasn’t your average date. We talked for hours while driving around the country and just reminiscing (gas prices were cheaper then) when the sun was setting we cranked the radio and danced in a hay field and later climbed the hay bails looking up at the stars together. The rest is history, we talked every single day since!
