We’re getting married!

We met during our first semester at Stephen F. Austin State University in English class. In the first couple of weeks, we had been eyeing each other, but neither of us spoke to one another. About a month into the semester, Andrew approached me after class. We had a quick chat and headed our separate ways. That afternoon, Andrew messaged me on Instagram wanting to go out for dinner. I wasn’t one to just go out with anyone, so despite it being 3:30pm, I told him I had already ate. Later that evening, we ran into each other in the cafeteria and he called me out! We ended up hanging out the next night and the rest is history!

During our trip to Wyoming, no one wanted to go on the hike to Porcupine Falls. They all talked about how they had “been there, done that” and it was a tough hike. Andrew insisted we should go anyways and could meet up with everyone after. I finally agreed to go and we were on our way! The hike down wasn’t so bad - mostly downhill and pretty chill. Once we reached the bottom of the hike, we found the most beautiful waterfall between the mountains. It was so breathtaking! We sat on some rocks, ate a few snacks, and just took in the moment. After we ate, Andrew asked me to stand on the rocks so we could take a picture. I agreed and he sat up his phone with a timer. ............little did I know what was about to happen. Once he got it all set up, he came towards me and began to get down on one knee. The feeling of happiness, shock, and joy left me in tears and speechless! Our picture turned out to be a video he was taking and something I look back on all of the time. Our trip to visit my bestfriend in Wyoming turned into one of the happiest days of my life!
