Wachusett Mountain is a small local ski resort that offers great hiking trails during the summer! Cam and Veronica skied here a lot during middle school as part of their schools' ski clubs.
This state park holds special memories for Veronica. She took Senior Prom photos and College Graduation photos here. This is also the same place Cameron and Veronica took their Engagement photos! How sweet! This is a free park to visit. You can bring a blanket and relax or pack a picnic and hang out by the water or in the fields!
The Quabbin Reservoir offers an abundance of nature trails to explore!
Lilac Hedge is fun for everyone! The farm typically has live music and events to enjoy over the weekends in the summer.
If you love flea markets then definitely check out Rietta Ranch! This market is special to both Cameron and Veronica. Growing up Cameron would go the the market early in the morning with his Grandma Gail Whittle, before any of the vendors were set up, and watch her bargain with all the vendors to buy things for her antique shop. In highschool, Cam and his friends would stay up late, and go to Rietta in the early morning to bargain for new video games. Rietta became special to Veronica because of Cam. They started going together in the mornings during summer breaks in college and still go every now and then when they visit home.
Cam and Veronica are wine lovers! Some of the first wine they truly enjoyed together was the Massachusetts Cranberry wine from Hardwick! Try their favorites: Veronica's - Hardwick Honey, Cameron's - Baystate Blueberry.
Stone Cow is a cute local brewery with sprawling hills (and cows), good beer, good food and live music (on the weekends usually).
Central Mass certainly has no shortage of micro-breweries!
Almost everyone has heard about TreeHouse Brewing (and if you haven't it's time you learn). The TreeHouse Brewery location in Charlton, MA is the OG TreeHouse location (where history was made). The grounds here are beautifully landscaped, offer plenty of seating, and typically have live music and food trucks too!
This beautiful course was Veronica's high school golf team's home course!
Located in Cam's hometown, Templewood is an 18-hole course offering gorgeous views of NH and Mount Monadnock!
Enjoy baseball? Check out the Minor League WooSox Team!
