One beautiful June day, both ladies ventured to the Boston Pride Parade. Maggie was living in Boston for graduate school, Whitney was visiting with her friend Martha to check out what Boston had to offer. Hours later at a back alley party, Maggie's dance moves *insert a lot of shoulder shrugging* caught Whitney's eye and she couldn't resist coming over to compliment them. Maggie was smitten after seeing Whitney's dance moves and piercing eyes. After chit chatting and dancing some more, Maggie's friends wanted to head to dinner. Maggie was reluctantly leaving without asking if she could see Whitney again- but then something came over her and Maggie marched over and asked if Whitney was going to the after party. A little while later, Maggie anxiously waited at the bar, constantly checking the door to see when Whitney would arrive. After way too long, Maggie had given up hope when just then the striking beauty that is Whitney walked in, crisp white button up buttoned all the way up. The night was spent laughing and dancing. Fast forward to two days later, Whitney's last day in town. Whitney invited Maggie to dinner with her and Martha. The three of them ate and drank sangria, laughing and sharing stories. Their dinner date was followed by a silly trip to CVS to smell candles and laugh some more. At the end of the night, both girls had a pit in their stomach about not wanting it to end but knowing they lived cities apart. But their texting conversations didn't dwindle, but rather grew longer and more frequent until one day Maggie and her best friend Audrey took the plunge and planned a trip to Chicago to see what this love story had in store. The rest was history after that trip. Whitney and Maggie couldn't get enough of each other & Whitney planned her move to Boston. And so began the love story of Maggie and Whitney, which only continues to grow stronger each day.
